Anniversary time!

40th anniversary

Rocky: we got a new film coming out, so why not? I'm fearing a bit for Sylvester Stallone (whose diamond pass I probably can't afford and if Weaver is something to go by, an autograph for us regular attendees whil probably be impossible, but it's worth a shot), but other cast members must be a possibility.

Guests: Sylvester Stallone, Carl Weathers (!), Talia Shire, Burt Young, Tony Burton, Mr. T, Dolph Lundgren, Brigitte Nielsen

Carrie: Sissy Spacek (if she's up for it), Amy Irving, P.J. Soles, Piper Laurie

30th anniversary

Aliens: well, we sort of had an Aliens reunion this year, so slim chance but as everything was placed rather late we didn't have that many guests. Not to mention a lot of people missed out on Sigourney Weaver. I think we deserve another shot with more of the cast!

guests: Sigourney Weaver, Paul Reiser, William Hope, Mark Rolston, Colette Hiller, Cynthia Dale Scott, Trevor Steedman (those are the ones I'm still missing)

Big Trouble in Little China: please please let this happen, it's one of my favorite films of all time. Kurt Russell as diamond guest? Slim chance, I think, but who knows.

Guests: Kurt Russell, Kim Cattrall, Dennis Dun, James Hong (regularly does conventions in the US), Kate Burton

Ferris Bueller's Day Off: An even slimmer chance. Matthew Broderick and possibly Jennifer Grey will not be keen on ever returning to the UK. Jeffrey Jones probably doesn't do public appearances considering his erm problem. But if there'd be any chance to meet Mia Sara (or Jennifer Grey and Jeffrey Jones) I'd be up for it.

The Fly: David Cronenberg, Jeff Goldblum (if they're up for it), Geena Davis and John Getz. Maybe Eric Stoltz from the sequel (I wonder if they tried getting him for Back to the Future this year).

Highlander: a must! Still very dear in the hearts of the fans and it would make for some great guest announcements.

Guests: Christopher Lambert, Clancy Brown, Hugh Quarshie, James Cosmo, Jon Polito, Virginia Madsen, Michael Ironside, John C. McGinley, Mario Van Peebles, Deborah Kara Unger, Raoul Trujillo, Adrian Paul, Thekla Reuten, Oris Erhuero

Little Shop of Horrors: Rick Moranis (to make up for the lack of Ghost Busters reunion last year), Ellen Greene (I love her in Pushing Daisies)

Stand By Me: Wil Wheaton (will be popular if he comes back), Corey Feldman, Richard Dreyfuss, Jerry O'Connell, Bradley Gregg

20th anniversary

The Craft: Robin Tunney, Fairuza Balk, Skeet Ulrich, Breckin Meyer, Christine Taylor, Helen Shaver, Rachel True

Scream: why was Neve Campbell invited this year again? xD Some might not do conventions though.

Guests: Skeet Ulrich, David Arquette (both do conventions in the states), W. Earl Brown, Rose McGowen, Matthew Lillard, Liev Schreiber, Omar Epps, Jada Pinkett, Heather Graham, Roger Jackson, Timothy Olyphant, Jerry O'Connell, Laurie Metcalf, Rebecca Gayheart, Luke Wilson, Portia de Rossi, Sarah Michelle Gellar, Deon Richmond, Emily Mortimer, Scott Foley, Parker Posey, Patrick Warburton, Adam Brody, Erik Knudsen, Marley Shelton, Emma Robberts, Hayden Panettiere, Aimee Teegarden

Beast Wars: unlikely, but didn't Showmasters promise us more voice actors a couple of year ago?

Guests: Scott McNeill, Garry Chalk, David Kaye, Richard Newman, Ian James Corlett

3rd Rock from the Sun: unlikely as well, I would guess, but it is my favorite sitcom.

Guests: John Lithgow (would attract a crowd), Kristen Johnston, Wayne Knight, Jane Curtin, Simbi Khali, French Stewart

The Dentist: just so you could bring over Corbin Bernsen and Wendy Robie

Dragonheart: Jason Isaacs (yes, daddy Malfoy is doing conventions now!), Brian Thompson and a longshot but David Thewlis?

Independence Day: Jeff Goldblum, Mary McDonnell, Bill Pullman, Judd Hirsch, Harvey Fierstein, Adam Baldwin, Vivica A. Fox, Mae Whitman, Leland Orser, Raphael Sbarge

10th anniversary

Dexter: David Zayas, Michael C. Hall, Jennifer Carpenter, C.S. Lee, Desmond Harrington, Lauren Velez, Erik King, Aimee Garcia, Keith Carradine, Jimmy Smits, John Lithgow, Colin Hanks, Jaime Murray, Katia Winter, Peter Weller, Ray Stevenson, and actually a ton of others who are only in a couple of episodes but are great actors that appear in multiple series and movies.

300: Vincent Regan, Dominic West, Tom Wisdom, Andrew Pleavin, Andrew Tiernan, Rodrigo Santoro

Jericho: Skeet Ulrich (how can we not have this guy next year), Gerald McRaney, Lennie James (see Walking Dead fans go crazy), Ashley Scott, Erik Knudsen, Soshannah Stern, Sprague Grayden

Robin Hood: I loved this show! Not to mention all guests will probably be UK based. Make it happen!

Guests: Jonas Armstrong, Joe Armstrong, Harry Lloyd, Anjali Jay, Gordon Kennedy, Sam Troughton, Keith Allen, Richard Armitage (unlikely), Lucy Griffiths, David Harewood, Joanne Froggatt, Lara Pulver, Clive Standen

Clerks 2: because Clerks 3 will be coming, it's awesome and we didn't have a Clerks reunion two years ago.

Guests: Brian O'Halloran, Jeff Anderson, Kevin Smith, Trevor Fehrman, Rosario Dawson (unlikely though I guess)
