miniq Posted August 19, 2015 Share Posted August 19, 2015 Well, this was my first time at a Comic Con and I just wanted to post up a BIG thanks to the organisers. My daughter and I travelled down from Scotland and attended only on the Saturday - wished we were able to stay on for the Sunday! We had a ticket issue (panic ensued...) which was resolved in the friendliest, quickest way - I was very impressed (and my panic levels disappeared...). The whole thing was so well organised, with staff happy to guide/help and generally point you in the right direction with a smile on their face! LOVED Robert Englund - a true professional who gave every one of his fans his attention. Cos-folk - a mix of weird and wonderful characters. Merch stalls - we needed MORE! More variety, more stalls, more stuff! The scheduled talks were great, and very well attended which I'm sure the guests appreciated. Only bad thing: as we left, one of the venue staff (not event staff) was a bit offensive to me cos we're Scottish....not v welcoming.
