Showmasters Admin showmasters Posted August 11, 2015 Showmasters Admin Share Posted August 11, 2015 Latest Comic Guest Announcement - Stephanie Hans Attending: Saturday & Sunday Cover artist: Marvel A GRADUATE of France's prestigious Ecole des Arts Décoratifs de Strasbourg, Stephanie Hans began her professional career drawing the two volumes of Galathéa, released by EP Publishing in 2005/2006. These caught the eye of Hachette, which hired her to produce covers for some of its Young Adult novels. At that point Hans decided to concentrate on cover work and – while the French artist has illustrated the occasional story (more often than not short back-up strips) – that is where her focus has remained ever since. Over the next few years she worked for not only Hachette but also such other French YA publishers as Oskar, Rageot and Syros before being headhunted by Marvel in 2010. Han's first cover for the House of Ideas adorned Firestar #1 but since then her art has graced numerous titles, among them New Avengers, Journey into Mystery and Angela: Asgard's Assassin.
