Who are you planning to meet and why?

Recommended Posts

I thought I'd come up with an interesting topic as unfortunately and very sadly won't be able to attend LFCC this Year. I would love to have met MJF & LLoyd for obvious reasons, Johnathan Pryce for TND & Michael Gambon for HP. This could have been my most busiest comic-con ever since I haven't met more than 2 guests at a Comic-Con and I'm not counting independant conventions. I'm definetly not missing out on next year :)

Noah Wyle - Mainly for The Librarians (and the movies prior to the series) but I've recently got into Falling Skies (and completely love it) so there's that too

Natalia Tena - Harry Potter, obviously

Sherilyn Fenn - Twin Peaks

Kelly Hu - Various shows and movies

Maya Stojan - Agents of Shield

Rey Misterio - I loved the whole wrestling thing in my teens

Gareth David-Lloyd - Torchwood

Richard Dean Anderson - Stargate

Bill Paxton - Agents of Shield and Twister

Michael Gambon - Harry Potter, pretty obvious again

Having said that, the last three totally depend on whether I can actually afford it. This list will probably be cut down to the first three anyway but a guy can dream, right?

For family members:

Emily Kinney - Mother's really into The Walking Dead

John Bell - Cousin's are more into The Hobbit than I am

Lea Thompson - For Howard the Duck (a fantastic but very much overlooked classic movie)

Robert Watts - Because the guy is a frickin legend: Worked with Kubrick, Lucas, Mr. Spielberg, Harrison, Kathy, Frank et al.

Dave Barclay - In my opinion a MAJOR headlining guest. Empire, Jedi, Labyrinth, Roger Rabbit the list is endless.

Sigourney Weaver - Enough said :)

I love going to the cons for the atmosphere primarily, and the talks - meeting individual guests for photos or autos is secondary, so generally only have a couple of main ones I want in advance, then see how the mood takes me on the day. So far I've got the following booked:

Neve Campbell - photoshoot booked - massive fan of her when I was a teenager from Scream, The Craft and WIld Things, total teenage crush and never imagined I'd get the chance to meet her - will blatantly just be mumbling my words when I meet her!

Emily Kinney - photoshoot booked - TWD is in my top 3 favourite shows, and she's the biggest guest there from it - although hopefully not too late to add others!

My girlfriend is a massive Harry Potter fan so she has a photoshoot booked with Michael Gambon.

Ones I might decide to get a photo or autograph from nearer the time are Kurt Angle, Jessica Henwick, Charles Dance, David Bradley, John Ratzenberger and Kristian Nairn.

Booked/Booking photoshoots:

Bill Paxton - AoS/Weird Science

Michael Gambon - HP/The Casual Vacancy

Noah Wyle - ER

Kurt Angle - mostly because I need to get a decent picture with him, my selfie from Wembley last year is a blurry mess 😔

Gregg Henry - Gimore Girls/24

Malcolm McDowell - Heroes

Charles Dance - GoT/Ali G

Carice Van Houten - GoT

Daniel Portman - GoT

Gemma Whelan - GoT

Iain Glen - GoT/Kick Ass 2

David Bradley - HP/GoT

Natalia Tena - HP/GoT/About A Boy

And then I have a secondary list! But I won't list them!!!
