i thought the photo tickets were different to entrance tickets though? do they get escorted out once the Fri shoot is done?

good question if that's the case then they should its only fare or wts the point buying Fridays ticket?
Keep reading Dazza. etmuse has said that they needed Friday entry as well. Also that this will most likely not happen this year.

Guys, please don't confuse our newbies even more.

1) etmuse has already answered that in the next post.

2) This question is redundant because using photo tickets on another day is not going to happen this year.

Just to be sure let me repeat: photo tickets are day specific.

This is going to be hard to explain and probably come across moaning or sometrhing but im not.

Id stil like some varity in there and when I say that I mean, for example we have 1 guest from The 100 ATM which is great, its current etc but also seems a little ramdon I would like to see MORE current tv shows / films with MORE than 1 guest it would make it worth while starting new things, cast photos etc.

for example 120 TV & Film guest does sound a lot but when you look there are nearly 40 Star Wars guests alone, 11 BTTF, 11, GOT, 11 Dr Who, 5 Nightmare of Elm Street and 5 Power Rangers thats over half (80) of your guests gone right there and not much Variety. I believe there is a small variety but want more of it not just random ones. But i am greatful to meet the ones that Showmasters do get so please dont get me wrong. I just cant get over the fact nearly 40 Star Wars guest and for me I look and go Who, What, Why? I cant see them generating much money (i could be completey wrong) but say compared to trading in the 40 guests for even 1 or 2 BIG names. - my mind boggles.

For me its not about the amount they get its who they get id rather have a convention of 30 guests but those 30 to be top notch and im not talking 30 guests like MJF or Bill Paxton because that would be unrealistic (for now) ;-)

Blimey, I didn't think I would hear anyone say there is not much variety !

Guests from Star Wars, Doctor Who, Harry Potter, Game of Thrones, A Nightmare on Elm Street, Back to The Future, Arrow, Agents of Shield, Stargate, Star Trek, The Musketeers, Power Rangers. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles etc etc !

I knew it would kinda get taken the wrong way, I know there is some variety, the TMNT were added after that post which i am generally excited by, but do you not think Star wars, Doctor who, harry potter, GOT etc are done to death at conventions, with so many great movies and Tv shows it just seems to be the same old ones leading the way, my point was i like the variety they have such as the guest from The 100 for example but its only one guest from that show (so far) to me i think im trying to say i want bulk/consistance with the variety it would be nice to have 2, 3, 4 or more guests from The 100, it would make starting something new worth while ( again for example they have had one Bones guest and altough fantastic guest, and amazing show, still going stong, where are the rest of the cast?), it is nice when Sowmasters get that variety in there but rather than having 40 star wars guest, or over 10 GOT guests, I know they are popular and I love star wars and GOT but you in your post you name Arrow and Agents of shield and while yes they are current there is only 1 guest from each show and in terms of how many eps they were both are very low indeed.

I just want to some up that I am not complaining, I love Showmasters and the guests they do get. just wanted to share my opinion on the orignal post of "120 film and tv guests" but when you think about it over 1/4 are from one film.and over half the 120 are from 6 things. Variety and more off.

I think you are always going to get a good number of guests from certain franchises because they have such large and loyal fanbases, in many ways they are the rocks that the Convention is built upon and are always going to have people interested to meet them. Take Dave Prowse for example, he must have done more events that most other guests put together but is still busy each year. It would always be a gamble trying something different although I guess if a current popular show it would have a good chance. Nick Blood for example from Agents of Shield seemed fairly busy at Collectormania and I am sure Erin Richards from Gotham would have been busy too if she hadn't had to cancel. I'm always intrigued to look at what other work guests have done across their career as well, so have a look at IMDB, so whilst a guest may be well know for say Star Wars like Dave Prowse, but he also starred in a number of Hammer Horror movies and he was also in the original Casino Royale movie as well. The other challenge you have getting guests from current TV shows is there may be clashes with filming, clashes with promotional tours etc, so whilst we struck lucky at LFCC a few years ago with a bunch of Heroes guests, that was down I think in many ways to it coinciding with a promotional tour for the show.

Those that are 'done to death' are by far the most popular fandoms, and are with every event. Variety is nice, but there's a lot of unproven shows that would not necessarily translate to a successful convention appearance. And it would be very risky to get 3 from an unproven show for example, so sometimes they'll test the water and see how it goes.

Ok so your basically saying that The 100, Arrow, Agents Of Shield and Bones (11 Seasons) are still Unproven hense the lack of guests from those shows. Anywho I dont want this to end up something its not, I really do look forward to LFCC though its going to be busy.

I would definitely say that some of them are unproven in a convention environment yes. We've had some shows that have done amazingly well and yet the guests haven't been hugely popular. So especially when they're US shows, it's a big risk to take for US guests that might not do well. So you can't get too many at once. But you never know, they are experimenting with some guests and seeing how it goes :)
