bunnywarren
Is it me or did this year's event seem to be one of the highest attended Collectormania's of recent times? Does anyone have any approx. crowd numbers for the two days?
Matty-lad
Not sure we'd ever know. Since the majority of it was free, only a few tickets were sold to judge by. Take care, Matty-lad
Faerie Tanith
I think it may seem that way because only the concourse was used, so it seemed extra packed. I don't know though.
Spacecadet is here
If you look at the LFCC web page, nearly 4,000 people say they are going to that event......
Charmer
I thought it seemed less quiet than some of the previous years. I mean, they had the inside part where the dealers room used to be blocked off. I think when Leonard Nimoy was here it was heaving with people in the dealers room and all around the concourse. It was never really impossible to get through the crowds where as I've had that before here a few times.
mpharris
I was gone by lunchtime on Saturday and by 1030 on Sunday but both days seemed quiet to me. Saturday was starting to get busier as I was leaving.
SciFiRob
Seemed reasonably busy to me...I'm certain showmasters are happy with attendance numbers.
GoldenGreen
There will be a figure for early birds based on ticket sales and then from a safety point of view I would think they would have needed to know how many people were in the building. It certainly felt very busy as the day wore on, especially I guess after 11.00 a.m. when it was free entry to come in, parts of the concourse and the dealers area in the tent were very packed in particular.
