Apologies, and thank you again! So they are day specific and any day changes can only be made at the event itself, rather than in advance. This may be different for this event as we intend to have the full guest line up confirmed by the end of this month, but at this time I have no confirmation of when the schedule for this event will be finalised and made public. So - has this changed then??? You mean because today's the 27th, it's a Friday and no further guests have been announced? The above post was the best estimate and by no means a guarantee. Normally we don't even get approximate timeframes just for this reason, attendees will get nervous if there's no movement at the given date. This event was an exception because it was announced on such relatively short notice. I'm not getting "nervous" - I'm really looking forward to the event and I'm sure it will be brilliant. But....my point is that if they plan to do something, and announce it, but then realize (for whatever reason) it's not going to happen, where's the harm in updating us?? I fully realize announcements will only be made when contracts are signed. I've been a SM customer since Collectormania 4, I know how it works! So I realize it is unusual to declare a time-frame in advance. That makes me think things are a little different this time round. I'm not being critical, I am simply asking if there is an update!! When I reply I really don't check all the time when someone has registered. Basically the only reply I can give you is that if there was an update it would be posted. Same story as always. We have never been getting any "sorry we're running late" messages until the office was seriously running late. The timeframe given was "around the end of the month" and it is not even the end of the month yet. If any updates will be posted I personally don't expect them before the end of next week. Raylenth Posted March 11, 2015 Share Posted March 11, 2015 I don't think you have anything to worry about, I don't think anything conventiony is happening Friday - I think Friday is for registering and you can look around the exhibits and stalls. I think all of the events - autos and photos are happening Saturday and Sunday. However until they announce the schedule or guest days we simply won't know. buy not being able to attend on Friday I doubt you will miss anything significant.
