GodAtum
What is the etiquette? For guys, I would ask there permission to take some photos and upload them here. But for women I am worried I'll sound pervy. I am not a pro photographer but have a camera and lens that are a few grand so the shots should turn out OK lol. Not_Pennys_Ship
No harm in asking, is there?
DarkVenomUK
Asked a few today for some on their own and some with me in. All happy to oblige. Some great looking costumes too, really impressive.
HopelesslyLola
Normally everyone is more than happy to oblige and post, it's always so flattering!
Queen_Sindel
Cosplayers are always happy to oblige, no need to worry about sounding pervy. There were tons of female photographers last year asking for pictures of some Marvel cosplayers. I am pretty sure the guys didn't think we were pervy... at least I hope so. lingham
There were LOADS of cosplayers tonight as I was expecting to see hardly any tbh. Some very lovely girls (not like that) who were having photos with loads of people
nicky
Pervy? They're dressed up in costumes for all to see so of course people are gonna want to take pics and they know that! To not expect it would be silly. From what I've heard what they don't like is people trying to take pics of them without noticing and then the snapper running away. They do like to be asked. Tor Johnson
Definitely ask - its only right and polite, and most cosplayers will strike a pose to show off their costumes.
Blenna_Janeway85
As a female cosplayer I love it when people ask me for my photo, gives me a sense of achievement that people feel my costume is worth the attention. So ask away.
