Will Heather
Hello again, I'd like to get either a comic or a marvel movie poster signed by Stan Lee, but I'm not sure which. I'm looking to purchase a new comic, specifically for his signature, but I don't know which. Any ideas? With regards to a movie poster, it would be cheaper (and depending on the franchise, room for other people who worked on the film to sign it also). Any thoughts? P.S. What sort of images (if anyone has met Stan Lee before) does he tend to have at his desk? Just curious.
GamerGraph
With regards to the movie poster, I would suggest not getting reprints and instead stick with the origonal cinema style posters these are often larger and much higher quality as you can see the poster from both sides as the colour goes all the way through the paper and not just the front side I think there usualy found as quad cinema posters. I do happen to have a spare for one of the Iron Man films as I double purchased at the time in error. And as for comics I would suggest looking for Phil Winslade amazing spiderman issue 1 volume 3 I believe he worked on a variant of the newest run of Amazing Spider-Man comics a new series started on the 30th April. I'm thinking to get more signatures added to my X-Men First Class movie poster as another cast member will be attending and I've already got two writers and another cast member signed since the release of the film :) I'm not one to get multiple things signed though I did with one or two last year, but this being Stan Lee and I have so many things I can't make my mind up. For images that he has on his table, it might change but if you use google image search and use Stan Lee signed in the search bar you will probably find some results to get an idea. From what I have seen it has been mostly if not all portrait photographs of the man :) Hope this helps :)
Will Heather
@GamerGraph. Thank you, this helped a lot. What Iron Man poster do you have a duplicate of? Ooh, nice! That's what I had in mind with this idea, as I'm more a fan of the films anyway and I can add to them over the years. Thanks again! :)
GamerGraph
It's the Iron Man 2 poster, I tend to buy them on eBay as the films always come arround the time of my birthday I hope Stan Lee has some Marvel PR person with him so I can ask why they always release the films when they do XD
diegoleone
I've got a fantastic clayburn Moore symbiote Spiderman statue I want signed, was wondering if Stan might have any gold or silver markers as black won't stand out... If not can I bring my own pen?? Can't wait getting down to the wire now guys :)
sebastian haff
I have purchased an 'Avengers' White Cover Variant #1 comic for Stan to sign. Not sure what run it is from, but I thought it would look cool signed rather than a 10" x 8" photograph which is what I normally go for. I will also be taking my own Sharpies as I would like stan to sign it in red as it would compliment the red 'Avengers' logo wonderfully I will already be taking 8 or 9 posters to the show to get signed by varius guests over the weekend so I will not be taking another for Stan to sign. This being the the other major reason for going for the comic idea

But if you have one that you'd like to be used you can of course bring that too. Even silver markers can sometimes vary in colour a little. diegoleone
Thank you for the info no havnt got a preference as long it can be seen :) and don't really mind it being a little cumbersome cos once it's signed it's going straight back in the boot of the car :) then because I'm a comic gold pass holder I'll be queuing on Friday for this to be signed nice and early well as early as possible lol don't think I've ever been so excited to meet someone before...
