All will be revealed at 7pm in the LFCC forum and I can say of all the guesses.... so many many guesses... our legendary behind the camera guest's name has been said, you are all very good - you just have to work out which of the many guesses is the right one now!! :) We do love guests, and we love announcing guests even more and tomorrow we have an epic guest announcement to make, this guest is going to be huge... watch this space! And well, Kevin Smith... I would say he is not legend more iconic as "Hayden is my hero" says. But I am afraid that when the name is announced the masses of.... "How is she/he a legend?!?" will arise! She's not really known for her work behind the camera. Kevin Smith? I really do hope its him, as I consider him a legend but thats only because I enjoy seeing his movies and find what he does to be marvellous (IF YOU CAN SEE THIS KEVIN? I THINK YOU'RE BRILL) If honest, there have been names mentioned in this here thread that I have no idea who they are, BUT they mean something to someone and thats what matters. natedammit Posted June 4, 2014 Share Posted June 4, 2014 Nate, did you see The Wind Rises during its UK release recently? I agree Hayao Miyazaki would be a really good guest to meet at any UK show. I have tickets for next Wednesday at my local independent cinema, or 'filmhouse' as it calls itself. It'll be the first Ghibli film I've seen on the big screen. I'd be surprised if he ever comes over for a show - he's very old and surprisingly few people know who he is, considering he's the greatest animator of all time. We mentioned yesterday about a huge guest announcement today, well we were being literal as our guest is so huge they won't even fit inside Earls Court! You will find him outside as a welcome to the event, so not only are we taking over 2 halls at Earls Court this year, we're also taking over the forecourt outside! Please welcome our huge guest OPTIMUS PRIME to London Film and Comic Con!! Taking time out from his busy schedule promoting the new Transformer's movie 'Age of Instinction', Optimus Prime will be on view to everyone who is in the area of Earls Court that weekend! London Film and Comic Con is proud to have Optimus Prime attending all three days with his comrade Bumblebee. July 11-13th is also opening weekend for Transformers: Age of Extinction in 2D, Real 3D and IMAX 3D and thanks to IMAX, we will have a pair of tickets to give away soon! Also, thanks to our friends at Hasbro UK, we will have some brand new Transformers action figures to give away too. There's 'More Than Meets the Eye' at London Film and Comic Con. Stay tuned! While Optimus Prime is indeed a guest, it is a movie prop.
