Am I right that there are several people on the site but not the list? Ian Beattie, Anneke Wills, Kate Dickie, Jon Davey are the ones I found. And ohn Hurt, but I'll forgive that one for being announced 47 minutes ago ;)

Oh, and I am nominated for being grammar-nazi for this, but the alphabetisation isn't quite right in some places. I'm a major planner for these, so I get frustrated if things are not in their place in lists :D

You can't be worse than my mother! She's an English teacher and if all English teachers were grammar nazis then my mum would be hitler! I'm as bad I even punctuate my text messages and hardly ever use abbreviations of words. I'm terrible! The alphabetisation of these has always confused me, one minute you're on D the next it's skipped to K ?! haha but I digress

I'm even worse as I'm a secretary by trade and my first job involved working for a publishing company and we had to proofread the typed manuscripts. Non-capitalisation gets me every time ;)

Has there ever been any consideration given to having chip and pin machines at the tables of more popular guests?

I've been to a number of craft fairs recently and even the smallest of traders seemed to have them (I assume they can be hired). It seems like a missed opportunity to me and a way to reduce the queue of people wanting to pay via credit card at the organizers booth.

I was hoping that E-tickets might be introduced...would save all the postage/people asking every 5 min where thier tickets are and if they've been dispatched.

Costs aside, a big issue is the time it takes to process one payment. That is based on being able to get a decent signal in the first place. A fast moving auto queue is not the place for such delays, hence why there is a separate sales desk for this.

The machines have been able to be hired at the venues I've been to, likewise the craft traders I know are also able to utilise paypal payments at their stands. Downside though is, as always, the devices operate on mobile phone signals so reception can be appalling, even when you're at Ally Pally right under the BBC's mast.

Yes, you can pay by card at the sales desk.

Thank you :)

Be aware that it is likely that not ALL queues at the sales desk will be able to take cards so check when queuing.

I was wondering if the price for the EJO/Jamie Bamber double photoshoot had been announced? I'm just wanting to try and budget and this might decide whether I go in the queue for EC1 or EC2 on Friday :)
