Gmorris2504
I'm assuming he'll be very busy, could you give me a rough idea of how many VQs will be handed out as I don't want to miss out, I've never had to have a vq ticket before because all the guests I've met have been realativly quiet. What's the procedure for VQs? Thanks
Queen_Sindel
I'm assuming he'll be very busy, could you give me a rough idea of how many VQs will be handed out as I don't want to miss out, I've never had to have a vq ticket before because all the guests I've met have been realativly quiet. What's the procedure for VQs? Thanks There have been guests that had VQ tickets running out before. John Barrowman's first appearance at Collectormania would be one. After the VQ tickets reach a certain number the crew handing out the tickets will warn you that you may not see the guest. As I said above, if he's a must see for you all I can advise at the moment is get there early.

jonathan
You'll need to be in the queue outside before 8am at the very latest imo. Even earlier than that would be better like 7am especially if you want a low numbered VT
Gmorris2504
Hopefully will be staying on Saturday night so will be able to get early bird entry 8am might be pushing it but I'll see
TerraHawk
It's hard to judge how many potential queuers would be put off by the autograph price. Not that I'm saying that's unreasonable. Anyone who can pay it without a flinch would probably go Gold anyway, so won't have to queue up early. I'm just glad I got him earlier this year so don't hae to worry until more guests are announced. LOTR-Auto-Hunter
If the price is an issue, as it is for me, put away a few quid each week... there's plenty of time to go to the show (roughly 28 weeks). I'm saving £5 a week until then... should give me enough for McDiarmid and whoever else may attend... I hope!! Prior planning etc...
Gmorris2504
It's not the price I'm worried about, I'm worried about not being able to meet him because of the limit on VQs thanks everyone for the replies they've been helpful :)
LOTR-Auto-Hunter
Oh sure, I was just speaking generally to the thread... earlier the better in terms of VQs... Edited December 2, 2013 by LOTR-Auto-Hunter

Tomfiend
Would be great if he did a special shoot like Sam Jones did and donned his emperor robes!
sebastian haff
Fantastic guest but with a hefty price tag I know people will pay the money to meet such a great Star Wars actor ( Including Me) but my fiancee has been scared off by the photoshoot price. Pity really as she does not collect autographs and will probably have to make do with meeting him (Very, very briefly) when I have my signatures. Please do not think this is a whinge BUT I do think that the photoshoots are becoming a little pricey for what they are and are definately scaring certain people off
bonniesrg
There's not much that can be done about that really. If the guest charges a high fee for an event, then the auto & shoot fee will be high. If people aren't willing to pay that price, then SM won't be able to get other guests like Ian. I know I am definitely getting an auto. Still considering a shoot (I'm more of a Trek fan, so more likely to pay that price for a Trek guest). Got Karl Urban & William Shatner without having to think about it. Not sure if I really sure if I need a shoot with Ian as I haven't seen him in anything else & not diehard for Star Wars. But I understand why others would pay the price.

Richie Rich
I am gutted... there is no way I can afford £70. I have baby food and nappies to buy. I have a Star Wars poster with 10 signatures so far. I can't believe I will be missing one of the key characters. Excuse me while I go away and cry... Murph
If you can spare £2 a week till the event, it will almost cover his auto.

Well done Showmasters for getting sucha rare guest but I'm going to have to think about whether its worth it for me. I always have photoshoots with certain guests but again, the price seeems a little steep. Well done again though on getting the rarer guests from shows and films. Geekchic
An idea - It would be cool to get Ray Park and Mr. Prowse together also for a big Sith reunion photo session!!!

Gmorris2504
Would be nice if mr Prowse comes along and to have a joint shoot for maybe £75? Maybe with the Death Star hanger background. Just a thought
TerraHawk
Given that he's only their one day, and will have a lot of autographs to sign I'm not sure he'd have time to do a group photoshoot and a regular one.

Zahariel
You can almost guarantee he'll have 2 photoshoots throughout the day. 1 first thing at early opening and then after lunch - getting a 3rd in will have to be done last thing in the day and we al know how things like to overrun... mr fagan
Yes as long as he does a talk and endless photoshoots that's the main thing i mean why would anyone else like me want to go to a show like this meet a guest and wait for it get an AUTOGRAPH? phil_wilce
I would certainly pay the requested price for an autograph but only if it was personalised, think it would be ridiculous to charge such a fee and then say "No Personalisations"
