daveprince37
Hi there, I am just wondering what is the deal with the Comic Artists? for example how much do they charge for a signiture, or if they drawn a piece there - or do they charge individually for the pieces of art etc? For example - I would like Mike Collins to sign my 'Only Good Dalek' graphic novel and maybe get a piece of his artwork? Cheers... Moderators DavidB Posted August 1, 2013 Moderators Share Posted August 1, 2013 Comic guests are usually free signers but will charge individual prices for sketches etc. They're not usually confirmed before the event.
Showmasters Admin Too Tall Posted August 1, 2013 Showmasters Admin Share Posted August 1, 2013 AS DB said autographs are usually free. Commissions it all depends on the the artist and what you ask for and therefore how long they thing it'll take. You're basically paying for their time to do it. If it's something simple they can do in 10 minutes then it'll be cheap, if you want something with multiple charactors (or maybe one they don't usually draw that much) then it's going to take them longer and cost more. Previously I've seen them charge £10-£15 for a single head sketch and about £15-£25 for a single full body sketch.
