Now i know Babylon 5 isn't Star Trek, Doctor Who or any of the big sci-fi names out there... but the series written by J. Michael Straczynski was a real turning point in sci-fi, showing that an entertainment series could have a message, an ideal, and writing that would be as poigniant and striking today as it was 20 years ago. America's had at least two cons with major B5 reunions last year... we could do with one over here. As I said, Capaldi is on filming Doctor Who season 8, so there's no chance he will be able to make it unless they finish it up before March, which is unlikely as they said S8 of DW is coming in autumn/winter time.
