Rockstar6662
31st May to 2nd June, Hilton Metropole, Birmingham - David Hewlett, Paul McGillion, Corin Nemec, David Nykl and Dan Shea so far. Aiming for 8-10 guests and ticket prices stay the same. And switching to just the one event rather than two in the year as currently.
claire316
I thought I heard the whole room screaming when Corin Nemec was announced, but my boyfriend assured me it was just me! Oops! I got a little over excited! Can't wait!!!
Jazzie
I'm pretty sure my mate would say I screamed too! What a great line up so far. Sad to only get 1 event a year since I enjoy the cons so much, but grateful it's still running!
blewupthesun
Wow, that line-up is fantastic already! I'm ready to sign up as soon as tickets go on sale.

TommyT
8.0??? Wasn't this event named after the seventh chevron? Surely the next one therefore should be 7.10?
raiden58237
Well theres not 10 chevrons on the stargate is there so obviously it would be 8.

Rockstar6662
Does anyone know how many tickets were sold on Sunday for this? Can't wait to get my ticket!! TommyT
Well theres not 10 chevrons on the stargate is there so obviously it would be 8.0 No, the 7 denotes the seventh chevron and the .x denotes the con number in the series; The first one was call ed Chevron 7. When they announced the next one it was called 7.2, the third was called 7.3 etc; logically I would expect for example a 12th Cheveron 7 event to be called 7.12, not 8.02. Don't view the dot after the 7 as a decimal point but as a full stop or other non-numeric separator. sammyromie
But there are more Chevrons on other gates, right? So the events can be named Chevron 8.x ...
malB
When O'Neill meets the Asgard in ' The Fifth Race' an eighth chevron is used to add a distance factor to the journey. So there is an Eighth chevron just as they use a nineth in SGU.

chubarker
Chevron 8.0 or Chevron 7.10 Confused, Mark was for a long time, athough I wouldn't say no to re-doing 7.8 again. Looking forward to a nice 90 minutes drive down to the NEC, rather than the four and a half hour nightmare of reaching Heathrow. Already started saving,
