reversethepolarity
Hello kind people of the EMS universe! So I'm actually pulling my hair out trying to get down to the convention! No joke! Basically I've looked and looked and I am getting too confused about all the transport. I live in Derby, will be attending the Sunday and really want to get there for around 10/10:30 to meet a mate. So my question is- How do I get there? I'm a 16 Year Old student and I preferably want the train. I can sort of navigate the underground... Any help is much appreciated! TommyT
According to The Trainline you've really only got one train down there in time on the Sunday morning - the 06:13 from Derby gets into St Pancras at 9:13 (the next one leaves Derby at 7:16 and gets into the same London terminus at 10:18) It's then over to Transport for London's Journey Planner which suggests the following: Walk to King's Cross St.Pancras (4 mins) 09:36 Take the Piccadilly Line towards Rayners Lane Underground Station or Piccadilly Line towards Heathrow Terminal 5 or Piccadilly Line towards Heathrow Terminal 4 Underground Station or Piccadilly Line towards Uxbridge Underground Station arrive at Earl's Court station at 9:55 Transfer to District Line platform (make sure you get the platform for Olympia) 10:00 Take the District Line towards Kensington (Olympia) Underground Station arrive at Olympia Underground station at 10:03 Once you get there it should be difficult to miss. The suggestion is that if you miss the 10:00 District Line at Earl's Court, the next is 10:20, getting you to Olympia at 10:23.
