We went as Joker and DCUO Harley quinn :) My favourite cosplayer would be a tie between all the batmen I saw xD (can't choose) and Sherlock holmes! Is this Mary Lou and Craig? Particualrly the way she stayed in character while "walking" around the show. And the person who was another Harley Quinn on Sunday (with one red and one black boot) was pretty cool looking too. I saw at least 3 Sherlocks - 2 Victorian era and 1 Cumberbatch version. The guy in the Saturday masquerade, if you're talking about him, is particularly awesome, though. The Sherlock fandom meet-up group did (among other things) a flashmob in aid of Save Undershaw at Trafalgar Square back in April, and there were some really cool pics of this guy and a Moriarty on the National Gallery terrace :) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

dreamsphere3 Posted July 9, 2012 Share Posted July 9, 2012 I'm thinking of going in costume next year (my current idea would take quite a bit of work, so I'm hoping to make a final decision as soon as possible). What's it like with travelling on public transport in costume? Mainly trains and the Underground. I'll almost certainly be in something with an alien head/mask. Anything I have to be wary about (I wouldn't even want to risk bringing something weapon-like)? well, i was too scared to go on public transport in my cardassian costume but i had an interesting moment getting into my taxi. some strangers on the street stopped me and begged for a photo of me, saying i was really impressive and all this done just as i was climbing in the cab so i felt like a right celeb haha. this only happened to me once before when i worked in the scare house nightmare realm in cork. everytime i got out of a car by the horror house all the teens would come up to me begging for clues as to who i was in the house ha. it was kickass Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I think I saw Blondie from sucker punch, def saw Samara and Arkham City Riddler....Was actually considering tackling him for making me collect all his trophies in the game lol. I was Neitzchean from Andromeda and went to meet Kevin Sorbo before changing into my Doctor Who Unit Captain to meet Bernard Cribbins and Anthony Head. I changed into normal clothes to go home. Posted July 14, 2012 Share Posted July 14, 2012 due to unavoidable travel delays,I did not get there untill 12.10pm on saturday,I was dressed as one of the classic`V` charactors-not,unfortunately in the group that is pictured on this forum-though I do know most of them,they are part of the star warriors group. I was in the standard red uniform with baseball cap and side arm,if anybodys got a picture of me-and a few took pics,I would like to see them please. I mainly attended to see Jane Badler and got a pic with her in my costume-what a nice and accomodating lady,to do that later and mini photoshoot in the afternoon. I also entered the Masquerade on Sunday :) It was my first convention and my first major cosplay, and I had such a fantastic time that I will most definitely be back.
