Talk/photo shoot schedule LFCC 2012 (additions 6th July)

Recommended Posts

Ok so if Normans shoot Saturday is between 1 and 2pm just turn up and wait between that time? :) and same for John on Sunday? X

No, you don't have to be there from the start. Depending on your number show up maybe 15 to 20 minutes in, or even later. As long as you are there before the shoot is over that's fine. If you wait in that area you may even be asked to move because congestions in photo areas are something that the crew tries to avoid.

Okey doke, Thankyou. I'll go over about 20 mins in and come back if I'm too early, Also sorry of the questions but johns photoshoot is earlyish will there be some early bird entry tickets left for sale for Sunday? :)

Entry tickets have never yet sold out.

Ok, thanks a lot for the help, you to Queen_Sindel :)

but what if i have vt number 1 ( i know i will never have that, but let's say.. ) and there are a huge amount of goldpass holders, i still woudn't have a chance right? I am sorry, but i dont understand the goldpass holders autograph queues.

The Gold Pass holders can join the back of any line. If you have ticket 1 and 10 Gold Pass holders do get in before you you are 11th in the queue. Notall Gold Pass holders are coming for Gillian or will go to see her first thing.

thanks again!!!

but if i have number one and i already stand in queue and 3 goldpass holders are coming in would i still be the first in the line? Or may they go before me because i am just a normal ticket holder?

They can only join the back of a queue, not jump in front of you

Gotta give credit to the mods they're answering so many questions.

Something I would stress is they cant really answer hypothetical questions for instance it's In the intention that a guest signs from opening time but sometimes due external issues this can't happen.

When attending a con common sense goes a long way. Look at finishing times for everything, bare in mind people queued from about 5am last year, and write everything down haha.

Oh my, starting talks / photos up before the standard entry time 11am? We weren't planning on arriving until 11 on the Sat. Have photoshoot tickets 310 for Gillian, and 167 for Jeri. Is it OK if we tag onto the second sessions if needs must?

Also PLEASE don't be scared to talk to the crew at the event. They're called the best in the biz by many, and there's a good reason for that. They will help you as much as possible, so if you do have clashes and feel you might miss something, TELL SOMEONE. They will do their absolute best to try and help.

There is no problem going in the second sessions.

The event is not till this weekend and I already believe this is the best team I have ever dealt in regards to my son and his disability! The amount you have done to help us is unbelievable! So I am not too worried about approaching anyone now and bringing up any issues we have if it involves my son!

I have fairly low photo shoot tickets for both Gillian and Holly but there is a clash for their first photo sessions. I also have a photo shoot with Tom Skerritt which could mean I could drop into the 1.10pm Gillian photo shoot, but since I try to escape as early as possible after I've had any photos taken and collected any autos so that I can keep my parking costs to a minimum (a friend usually collects my printed photos for me), and since there is always a risk of delays (yes I know photos are more reliable at keeping to time than autos are) if I went into the Holly queue first, would I then still be allowed to join the Gillian queue.

There is always a possibility that I could still be at the event for Gillian's second shoot, but I certainly won't be for Holly's, but I don't want to run the risk of having a long wait to get through the photo session and being stung for more parking than necessary.

So my question is, worse case scenario is that I'm at the back of Holly's queue and don't get through until just after 10.00am - if I dashed across to join Gillian's queue would I be turned away and told to come back to the next session, even though I've got a low number?

I have a clash on Saturday between Mickie and Rose will it be possible to get to both shoots as Rose is 5 mins longer?

Yes, go to Mickie's, mention you have a ticket for Rose, crew will make sure you don't miss it.

Gillian's shoot doesn't end for another 20 minutes after Holly's - if you have a low number you should be through Holly's well in time to make it across to Gillian's. Even if you're the very last person you will have time to get to Gillian's shoot.

I've got a gold pass and have a few shoots which clash. If I turn up to one session after the other golds have gone through do I just join the back of whatever queue has formed or do I speak to someone and get inserted near the front?

On saturday I have Chris Judge, Jewel Staite and there's the first Jeri Ryan session starting at the same time (near enough). I'm planning on Chris first, then Jewel and then over to Jeri as that goes on longest and which will have got fairly well going by then.

Just don't want to do the wrong thing. I've usually just been there at the start of the sessions in the past, this is the first time I'll have these clashes so not sure how it works with the gold pass and turning up late. Thanks.

Last year I told the crew member and they slotted me in at the front of the queue, which in some cases required them escorting me through a mass of people lol. I reckon it'll probably be the same this year

For Anna Sun .. in response to your queries

Well can I turn up Sunday with my tickets and use them then? I don't want to go to london just to ask them if I can go Sunday instead?

The tickets are for talks with jewel, adam and hayden x

You will have to wait for an answer from the office on this. As we've said several times, the mods cannot answer such questions as we don't have the authority to make it happen.

I've spoken to Allison who is the lady who will deal with this at the organisers booth. This answer is just for you as each case is decided on it's own merits.

To save you worrying any longer as I fully appreciate that with your condition uncertainty can be very hard to cope with she has allowed me to answer this on her behalf.

She has assured me that if you present both clashing tickets before the talks take place on saturday then she will issue a refund or allow you to swop one for another talk of your choice on the Saturday. However, you cannot switch them to Sunday without presenting the tickets prior to the first talk on the Saturday. If you wish to attend on the Saturday with both talk tickets and swop them for Sunday, provided we have not sold out then Allison will be prepared to swop them. This however, is only whilst we have the opportunity the resell the saturday tickets, turning up on Sunday without arranging this before hand will mean that you forfeit any right to a refund. This also assumes that when you arrive on the Saturday we haven't already sold out the Sunday talks.

To quote Allison: "For all other people in the same situation as long you present the tickets with the clash before the first one goes ahead, whether it be a photo shoot clash or a talk clash, then you must go to info desk before the first one happens so we have time to sort it out. Swops can be dealt with as long as there are other tickets available for something that you would like to do instead."

Thanks, just don't want to ask if it's not the right thing to do. Got a few where I'll be going straight from one to another (Hayden & Mitch on Sunday as well) so maybe a mod can clarify please?

you will get a stamp on your first exit from the building so you will be able to take her her ticket outside as once your in you can come and go AS long as you have stamp (get it on your arm not your hand if your like me and wash your hands a thousand times a day )
