Im going on my own, dont really know anyone whos going. Dont fancy sitting like a loner at the parties or queuing on my own. The best bit about the hub was the other people, more than the guests. Dont want to go anymore Oh it will be great honestly, don't worry and let it spoilt the run up to the event for you. You are sure to meet people in the queues for autographs and as the afternoon is grouped with the guest encounters you will have loads of time to make friends in your group. I can assure you that you won't be the only one on their own and Hub attendees are some of the friendliest people around and even if they are with a group will always welcome a new person. Also don't forget the crew will always chat to you and make you feel welcome. I don't know where I'll be working at the weekend, but if you find me I will always find five minutes to have a chat and a socialise. Lots of people that I normally go with aren't coming either but this sounds as if it's going to be a fairly small con, so I don't think you'll be stuck on your own as huge crowds mill past you. I think we all probably need to be making new friends at this one so that we can give these cons the send off they truly deserve. We're gonna party! If you need someone to hang out with then you can join us if you like. Buffy2k and I will be at the hotel from around 3pm tomorrow. I have long curly brown hair. I'll be wearing a long purple net skirt and a big silver locket with an E on it. We'll probably settle in the bar or I'm quite likely to be found out front having a smoke. If you dont find us then should be dressing in a grecian dress tomorrow night (which i wore for Hub 1) seeing that we are going back to the beginning with themes so feel free to come join us, we'll have a drink in hand no doubt and always welcome new friends. This will be fun. I am sure we have met before as we have been to all the Hubs with our friend Cryssie who unfortunately cant leave hungary this time to join us. I've been to every one of the Hubs and I think it was either 4 or 5 I braved it on my own without my best mate - and I got chatting to so many people and made so many more friends.
