Joining the previously reported MUCH ADO ABOUT NOTHING adaptation that sprang from nowhere, IN YOUR EYES will be the second feature to be produced by his newly formed "micro-studio" Bellwether Pictures, but unlike the former Joss will only be providing the screenplay this time around, with Brin Hill (who he?) taking on directorial duties. In his recently issued statement, Whedon had this to say about the project: “When I wrote 'In Your Eyes', I didn’t have the wherewithal (or the moxie) to make it without an established production house. I believe, as I did then, that it’s a pretty timeless romance, and now, with the creation of Bellwether Pictures (and Brin Hill’s elegant, passionate take on the piece), I have the opportunity to prove it.
