I'm planning on taking my own silver pen for autographs this time. Is there a specific make/type that works best on photos and lasts longer ie doesn't fade?

I'd go with a Sharpie. They really are fantastic on photos (and actually, on clothing too)

Isn't that what the guests use anyway though?

 

Suppose if you want to ensure a specific colour is used best to take your own but they'll probably have silver ones anyway.

Sakura pen touch 1mm. Good paint pen if you know what you're doing and prime it before giving to guest. It's a more vibrant silver than sharpies, but a sharpie that works is a helluva safer bet.

Yeah the guests all have sharpies, and usually in various colours.

 

Silver does tend to be rarer though and runs out faster. So if a guests has gone bye-bye, havinf your own is good

 

I usually bring my own black and silver. Usually just for writing notes or whatever but you never know.
