sazzra
http://worldbooknight.org/your-books/the-wbn-top-100-books The World Book Night announced the top 100 books which are possibly in the running for WBN 2012 on Monday, and are encouraging people to have a go a reading what they can from it. Anyone else up for doing the full 100 before April 23rd?
Dragon Home
What if you've already read the book? Do you have to re-read?
sazzra
That's the current debate - some people who've said they'll do are are now horrified by those of us saying we're doing all 100 regardless of what we've read before. I'm guessing not though, the target seems to be to have read them all at some point before 23rd April
Dragon Home
In that case I've only got to read about
sazzra
http://www.worldbooknight.org/wbn-blog/the-wbn-read.html There's a Facebook page too with a booklist you can mark off. I've got 73 to do if I don't re read any, I obviously concentrated far too much on Russian literature rather than British
Ophelia
Blimey there's some on that list that reading once is enough for me. Gone with the Wind is a tome in itself.
SlippDigby
That'll be 77 for me then. Though Harry Potter #1, by defintion, is on the list twice anyway. Once as a stand alone at the end of the list and as a part of the Hardback Set...!? Which, thinking about it actually makes it a list of 99 and so just 76 for me. sazzra
I'm just glad it's Anna Karenina representing Tolstoy rather than the hideous War and Peace :/
