Moderators DavidB Posted July 28, 2011 Moderators Share Posted July 28, 2011 This is going round in circles. Everyone is assuming that SM haven't tried to get in touch with anyone regarding this. Cancellations are announced when 110% completely confirmed. Sometimes there can be an issue, and they'll try to see if it's possible to work around it etc, and when they are SURE it can't be done then they cancel the guest. Showmasters needs confirmation from Colin's agent that he's definitely not able to attend this event and wont announce otherwise before that happens. I don't see why people are blaming Showmasters, if anythings its Colin's agents fault for not informing Showmasters that he can't attend (if that is indeed the case). One of those times I wanted to not be right, really wanted to meet him. I just looked at the Glasgow page and stunned to see Garrick Hagon has cancelled too!
