Speaking from experience, if someone doesn't accept you for who you are, they aren't worth it. :(

So very true! Not that your mind can always remember this when all around you everyone is loved up!

But it is the case, you are better off alone and happy in yourself than with someone who is constantly trying to change you - I speak from experience there :(

Really interesting thread. Even if you don't meet 'the one' I think meeting new friends would be really cool. How about some kind of group activity at the next con where people can work together and get to know each other without the pressure of coming up with something amazing to say to people to make you sound interesting.

Meeting a girl at a convention for me is alot like doing it anywhere else I mean if we get a spark or get something cool going and wanna keep in contact then we usually see where it goes from there. Generally I don't like to look so far ahead.

Someone obviously doesn't want to go to Chevron or Hallowhedon anymore. I can fix that......

Wrong quote but hey ho - if you're old then some of us must be ancient! Think you still fall into the "cute/hot" category!!

Although I'm not sure I can picture you now without the thought of Stuetta burning into my retinas!!

Now that's definately a 13 pinter!!!

I'm ancient :)

I predict a number of one-way conversations.

I'm used to talking to myself though :o

Or is that becuase I'm deaf and don't actually realise you're talking to me hehe!
