And Rockstar6662, I'm 41 and not the only one in that age group, so don't feel you'll be surrounded by nothing but youngsters if you go to the parties. I don't know what the Radisson's layout is like, but the Park Inn at Northampton has two bars with seating areas outside of the main party hall, so you can always chill out and chat there instead of strutting your stuff on the dancefloor.

 

Thanks for the confidence boost. You seriously wouldn't want to see me try to dance. Bit of headbanging or air guitar I can manage maybe (though the hair is somewhat shorter these days) but not dancing, no sir.

 

People think I'm usually somewhat younger but I'm not the most outgoing until I get to know people and not a big party person these days. Sounds like it'll probably be ok though and I think I've met at least a couple of others who should be going. I'm sure it'll be good. Can't think that far ahead yet, got EMS to think about and I'm still on a huge high from this last weekend.
