I'm sure that you are only enquiring out of innocent concern and well-intentioned sympathy, but might I suggest that if Mr Barker wants to let the world know what, if anything, is wrong with him, he has plenty of avenues through which to do so, and could easily have asked/arranged for a note detailing his situation to be posted at the show. The fact that he doesn't appear to have made such an announcement suggests to me that he wishes to maintain a reasonable level of privacy, and I think we should respect that.

Not criticising you, merely suggesting that it really isn't our place to push such enquiries.
