Bizarrely, clicking the link adds extra text into the middle of the URL which stops it working. So, for example, instead of clicking on AAAAAAA and being taken to that URL, it takes you to AAAZZZAAAA. And I can't figure out why. It hasn't done this on any of the other sites I've posted these links. This is how to do it for those who are trying (taken from post #62) Hi there Would anyone be kind enough to advise me how to post photos in this thread please? Thanks :) you will need to upload the pics to a free picture hosting service like http://www.photobucket.com once you have an account there you will be able to upload your pictures then underneath you will see 4 different embedding methods underneath your picture its the [ img ] line that your interested in it will look like this [img=http://img.photobucket.com/albums/xxx/xxx/xxx.jpg] then simply copy the link with the img tags to the board and it will post your picture Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

But, equally, it's nicer for me to post links because then Flickr records the number of hits each photo gets and I have to confess to liking seeing my view stats and which get more, etc. How about a short description of each link next to it? I notice that people have mentioned it several times in this thread and given the imporession they loose interest when its multiple links as dont want to or wont click them. They also look like they get lost a bit in a page full of links, it hadnt been mentioned for a while and we seem to have a lot mire links ago so I reiterated it, no intention of digging at anyone. As kindly pointed out by another member advise was given of ways to post early on if people are having problems. Although that is of course unrelatd to your reason for linking. Just couldn't get to it. Hopefully another time. Great pics from everyone though. I'll look at getting more next time, especially of all the costumes etc. Was a little shy about just stopping people and asking this time, especially when they're obviously with their freinds etc but nice to see such creativity.
