AutoBot
For those of us who may want to get some 8x10's at the con to get them signed, how much do they usually go for? I haven't bought any 8x10's at these events before, so I haven't paid much attention to it.
adriangill
£3 is the most common price that I can recall. Usually there will be a 'buy 5 for £10' deal as well.
Christoff
There's a dealer that sells some for £1 too, but they're usually ones that you're less likely to be able to get signed (so not really for popular shows such as Star Trek where those guests are over here all the time). monty pringle
Is that £10 for the photos that the guests Have on their tables, or is it if you want to take one with your own Camera on the day??
Hustler
Is that £10 for the photos that the guests Have on their tables, or is it if you want to take one with your own Camera on the day?? Autographs from the guests usually cost between £10 and £25 with the exception of a few guests that will be considerably more. You usually receive a 8x10 photo that has been pre printed that you can get signed by the guest.. Some will just sign it and some may even personalize it with your name or a name of your choice.. Some of the guests also dont mind having a photo took, but again some do not, depending on how busy they are or if they have a photoshoot coming up. If you can get a photo printed off somehow while you are there, or have a photo taken professionally by Malcolm or his assistant, you can get that signed when they come back from the printers. This way you have to pay for the photo you have taken with Malcolm or his assistant and then pay for the autograph with the guest. Thats about it really... I hope ive explained so you can understand it..... lol Best Wishes
Moderators DavidB Posted July 5, 2011 Moderators Share Posted July 5, 2011 This topic is about 8x10s that people can purchase on the dealer stalls. The 8x10s provided by Showmasters for the guests are FREE and you pay for the autograph - so even if you purchase your own 8x10 (or other item) from elsewhere, you still have to pay for the autograph. They do not charge for photos taken with your own camera, but for busier guests this mostly won't be possible.
