Frankly I agree with the blogger, it looks like a ropey Star Trek episode. The lamest 8 minutes of TB I've ever seen. jcangel Posted June 15, 2011 Share Posted June 15, 2011 (edited) In a way I like that the TV show is only loosely based on the books, it gives the writers a chance to add new things or take other plot points in surprising directions. So when watching the show there are a lot of surprises which keeps things very intersting. The other extreme would be a show like Game of Thrones, which although outstanding, is a very accurate adaptation of the books.
