For Bitten it looks like the money was automatically taken from the card around that time.

If you paid by card, they were meant to be taking the balance in January. They still don't appear to have done so, for me.

 

At this stage, I would plan on either them taking on it from your card on the Friday, or taking cash to cover it, among all the rest of your expenditure during the weekend.

I paid by card and called them in February when no money had gone out, and was told the balance would be due on arrival.

I called to double check the booking on Saturday and got told the same thin as you did in Feb Morbid_sparks

We also got told that the balance was due on arrival when we phoned them about this issue.

Just to support what so many others are saying here, I was told by the desk manager when I paid the deposit at the last Hub that the balance was due upon arrival.
