18blue78
Me thinks it's the wrong way round. Can't see an autograph on an item costing less then one on a photo.
adriangill
I have seen autograph prices being cheaper than a photo shot in the past. It doesn't happen very often though. I will query it with SM.
Kieron
Does anyone know how much it would be for all 8 world cup winners autographs on a shirt? Thanks guys
Queen_Sindel
With the large amount of announcements the first post should hopefully be updated soon. There may be a group price if you get all signatures, sometimes this has been done in the past.

Count Fooku
Good news on a group price for the 66 team, I think that montage photo I bought at CML will be making the trip with me!
Kieron
Agreed mate, I think the group price will entice more people to get all 7 autos.
18blue78
A lot of gratitude, a bit of speculation and a very small moan…sorry. Gratitude- Thanks SM for a great line up. At the time of writing I’m planning on spending a shed load of cash on quite a few guests I‘ve been waiting ages to meet. So expect a harshly worded letter from my bank manager. Speculation- Again at time of writing there are only 7 guests for Saturday while Sunday has at present 14. Now back when this event was first mentioned in the topic ‘well we are back with Sportsmania at the Centre MK’ SM wrote- “you will see guests from the world of Boxing Snooker Football Rugby X sports Darts Golf skateboarding F1 racing Motorsport and more†As presently listed only 4 of these sports, plus horse racing and cricket, are represented. So by adding 2 and 2 together can we expect some exciting announcements to fill out Saturday…or is my arithmetic very bad? Moan- Damn but Gazza is expensive! I know he (or more likely his agent) is setting the price, and I also know that despite the price he will be a very popular guest. But from a personal point of view I find it a little steep and would rather spend that amount of money on a guest I may not get the chance to meet again. Again this is just my point of view and I’m sure a lot of people will be happy with the opportunity to meet Gazza, but I think I’m going to have to pass…this time. Moan over, looking forward to what is becoming a great weekend. Thanks again SM. Edited June 8, 2011 by 18blue78
Showmasters Admin Too Tall Posted June 9, 2011 Showmasters Admin Share Posted June 9, 2011 1: The show is on Friday, but it's a dealer only day, there will be no guests. 2: Please keep the "funny" comments to yourself. They don't help anyone and just mean guests reading these forums could think "Well I'm not going if that's what they think of us!". And yes we have had guests in the past cancel shows due to the rude and inconsiderate comments of those on these forums, so it CAN happen. And it may not be the guest you're insulting but one you actually want to meet that takes offence. Just remember that before posting rude comments about the guests. Thanks. Here here, a warpy sense of humour is all very well but not if it costs us a guest like Gazza!

Donkey
I'm confused with the reason Gascoigne is so expensive :s My mind forgets, but weren't some sports stars only £5 at one event not too long ago too?
Count Fooku
Not sure why that would be confusing, there is often a difference in prices for TV and film guests so theres no reason why sports guests should be any different. Tyson was significantly more than this last year, also I believe this fee is roughly consistent with what Gascoigne charged at the last signing show he did so its not like his fee has jumped from £5 to £

But its clear you seem to rank him far higher than me. Where he was previously simply doesn't care about their customers. So they aren't much a guide for anything. For example many the Star Wars actors charge more at their shows than at Showmasters events. I don't consider Gascoigne in the same league as Tyson. Count Fooku
I don't consider Gascoigne in the same league as Tyson. Fair point, it's all about opinions but then again he is about half the price of Tyson so maybe its about right!
ItsAllGravy
For me Gazza is one of the best players this country has produced and that team in the early 90's was awesome with players like Gazza, Waddle, beardsley and barnes all players that had natural ability to beat players and make things happen. I would pay money to be entertained by these sorts of players compared to the current rubbish England team we have to watch today with the likes of lampard, gerrard, rooney that fail to turn up to every tournament. No doubt it might have been different for Gazza had he had a manager like fergie to look after him he could have probably been one of the best in the world and for footballing ability I thought he was class and was lucky enough to watch him live on numerous occasions. Count Fooku
Just as a quick question, when there is a deal like £80 on a photograph for the 1966 team (which I presume means £80 if all the players sign the same picture), would that be £80 on any photograph signed by all the players attending or would it only apply to the pictures supplied by SM/ME? I’d assume, and hope, it was any picture. Although I’d like confirmation on this as well. Same question about the 'item' deal as well.

As with any autograph there will be no issue for you to get it signed on your own picture or item.
