lambert Posted March 29, 2011 Share Posted March 29, 2011 hey is it not about time we had some major bond guests hero or villan. the last time was when likes of clifton james etal attended, the same year ursula andress also attended. now i know we have had some good guest inbetween. just seems a while now i attended every autografica love it but would really good to get one or two major players . I think I'd rather meet 10-20 members of the supporting cast than one of the leads (not that I know how much a big star would usually cost - although Mark Hamill wanted $50k to appear on that Justin Lee Collins show). I'm the exact opposite - I would rather meet one fantastic rare lead star (Sir Rog for example), than 20 glorified 'extras' who once delivered a sandwich to the Bond set... Roger Moore, George Lazenby, Britt Eckland, etc. have all been at recent events/book signings and fairly easily available ...whereas Ivana Milicevic dropped out of her Autographica signing and many of the other cast just haven't seen the light of day. That's not to say I'd turn down a chance to meet Mr Connery Roger Moore was easily available for signing his book; very rarely would he sign anything else or pose for photos. Mr Connery is easily available - you just need to know where to look (personally met him 3 times in recent years and have 4 items signed....)
