Best con since LFCC 2008?

LFCC 2008 was in my opinion the best con that showmasters have ever put on - John Hurt, Pete Postlethwaite, Christopher Lloyd, Charles Dance etc.

So far this year we have Clive Barker, Veronica Cartwright and the return of Christopher Lloyd which could make it even better than 2008. Come on showmasters you can do it! B)

For me 2008 is still a lot better as out of the people you listed I'm only interested in Christopher! I'm sure we'll get a few more surprises before then though so there's still time. I'd say they'd need to add 3 or 4 big names I've not personally met to make it as good as 2008!

I enjoyed last years the most but will never forget 2007 when the 4 big Heroes guests and patrick stewart were besieged by thousands on the Sunday....the second day of that event just seemed to get the attendees in a frenzy that no other LF&CC's have managed (IMO) to beat since, probably because Heroes mania was at it's peak at the time.

08, 09 and 10 were all amazing, each one had about 12 guests for me to meet.

You know its a good event when you have to pick between guests to meet as you cant afford them all. That was all 3 of those years.

And I am already spending over £100 on this so far (with no multiples and only one shoot so far!) so this is shaping up to be as good as ever!

the whole heroes crowd thing, did that have any bad effects on the actors? none have been back yet have they?

No, because the guests were not out at the signing desks when we were dealing with the crowds. There was some when they came out but they were at the other end of the queue and so did not effect the guests. All they saw was the big queue right in front of them. And in fact Adrain did come back to a Manchester event.

I'm just glad the events still at Earls Court as that is one quick train ride away from me :)

Not sure which event I have liked the most, but suppose this one has a great lineup so far.

May is the cut off for me booking time off from work for this too make sure I get it (minimum is 4 weeks in advance but better to be safe then sorry) but then again I don't want to book too soon and maybe people I want to see won't be going anymore (fingers crossed that won't be the case usually lucky with this)

Some of you are saying which LFACC is your favourite to date, come to think of it I really don't keep that much of a track of who went to what event (unless it was one of the last few I went too) really bad with remembering those sorts of things, though can remember who I have actually seen over the years, just most of them, ain't got a clue when it was I saw them lol
