acedannyace
Hey guys, iv just bought by gold pass ticket for next year. This will be my first ever event like this. The thing im most exited about at the moment is the lare amount of Collectables thats going to be for sale. Could some of you guys who have been in previous years give me an idea of what is going to be for sale and how resonable the prices are. Im really interested in buying some Star wars stuff eespecially a Force FX lightsaber if possilbe. Thanks in advance Danny (Darth Mantis)
Christoff
If you want a Force FX lightsaber it's best to buy it online, they charge quite a lot at cons. You will see a nice selection of Star Wars and other sci-fi collectables there, but they can be a bit more pricey than some other places. Though you'll see some stuff that you can't buy anywhere else, there's usually a couple of dealers stalls with some great (and unique) stuff, but they can be very expensive. SMASTER
When I went last year, there were a lot of prints of str wars scenes and stuff in specialist print stalls. I picked up a lovely Empire Stikes Back Poster, and I can remember a stall where some guyswere demonstrating FX sabers. there is also smaller stuff on sale like old Star Wars gum boxes and magazines. My poster was full size and cost £9 and I think I got like 5 mags for £2 Hope this helps!
CosmicAvatar
I bought my Force FX lightsabres there a few years ago when they were still fairly expensive, but I was never much of a bargain-hunter. I think you can get most of them for £50-60 now? Check the prices out online first, then go see. They do have some of the actual "fighting" sabres too, but you're talking over £100 for those. There's loads of stuff in general. Lots of action figures, posters, comics, weaponry, autographed photos, canvases, anime, computer stuff, books, figurines, model kits, jewellery, T-shirts... Plenty of variety, so your eyes will have plenty on which to feast even if you don't end up buying stuff! Hope you enjoy.
