ive seen bits of castle, nathan is awesome, not seen enough to comment further, although is the premise a crime novel writer is allowed to full time team up as a partner of a cop realistic?

Not sure if it's realistic, but it sure is entertaining. :WINCE:

TV drama would be boring if it was TOO realistic... most people's lives are half as exciting as those of tv characters!

My worst incident of that was when I finally gave in to friends and family on 'CSI' and watched 5 entire seasons in just under 3 weeks while also working 50hours/week. Looking back, I wonder when I slept.

:WINCE: I would be surprised if you had the time to sleep! Edited by 1of2

Of course it counts. We don't get autographs of people/series/films that we don't like. You have already been sucked in - you just don't know it :WINCE:

I'm sure I MUST have slept, but I really don't know where I found the time. Also suspect I probably ate, but I must have done that in front of the TV...

Bear in mind that Rob, like myself, enjoys a show about a 900year old alien who has changed his appearance (officially) 11 times. This alien also travels through space and time in a vessel disguised as a police box.

I wonder which is more realistic :D

Still can't believe I didn't go and meet Nathan at Collectormania 15. What was I thinking :D

Ditto. In my defense I too had yet to watch Firefly. I regretted my decision almost as soon as I'd started watching the show...

I went and met him but not for Firefly - hadn't started watching it yet. Got a Caleb pic signed.

Yes another show I have to start you off on

You HAVE to watch it. It's very good in it's own right and Nathan is brilliant in it, Stana Katic is :gorgeous::drool: and in one episode there is THE single most amazing reference to Firefly of ALL TIME!!!!

I have now watched the first episode. 'Annoyingly' I know I have to watch the rest now!

** wonders when Stana Katic will be attending an event....and taking part in a photo shoot :whistling: **

the thing I find funny is he doesn't really act that much, most of his roles, Firefly and Castle etc, it's just him, that's pretty much how he is :D

I see what you mean now. Castle is very similar to Mal (which is a good thing) in mannerisms etc. Which I assume in reality is similar to how Nathan is.

Yes. I was asked to write a short part as Mal for an RPG some friends of mine did. I was like "I haven't seen Firefly!!" (that really was years ago) and based "my" Mal on Nathan whom I had met a couple of weeks before at Comic Con.

According to the RPG group I got Mal spot on. They never believed me I had not watched the show.
