ShockTillYouDrop.com has been offered the opportunity to debut this teaser one-sheet for Skyline, the Strause brothers-directed alien invasion film that promises destruction and monsters galore. Shock was the first on the set - you can read our reports here and here - and we got to say, we're eager to check it out.

 

Starring Eric Balfour, Scottie Thompson, Donald Faison, David Zayas and Crystal Reed, the film's events kick off when strange lights descend on the city of Los Angeles, drawing people outside like moths to a flame. An extraterrestrial force then threatens to swallow the entire human population off the face of the earth.

Universal is still nearly two months out from the release of Skyline and sales outfit IM Global is already shopping around a sequel.

 

The company was originally at the front lines and handling sales for Greg Strause and Colin Strause's first monster mash/alien invasion pic which stars Eric Balfour, Scottie Thompson, Donald Faison, David Zayas and Crystal Reed.

 

Will the original Skyline creative team return for the sequel? Possibly. The Strause brothers financed the film independently and directed based on a script by Joshua Cordes and Liam O'Donnell, two vets from the Strause's visual effects house Hydraulx.

 

IM will be seeking interest in Skyline 2 at the Toronto International Film Festival.www.shocktillyoudrop.com
