amazing! every part of it. Luved the way the wine reception worked with the tables and the guests moving around. Meant everyone got seen. Jamie eating all our tables pom bears haha. All the guests were great. Kiowa was abit tooo quite for my liking, but that may have just been because he was against 3 very big personalities.

The one thing i wud ask, is that with the auction, its made more clear what is in it and what isnt. I know the items were put out about half hour before, but its not really long enough for everyone to see, and i saw things i wanted to bid on, that during the auction were being put to the back of the stage and not auctioned off. That would be my only bear bug of the whole weekend!!!

had an AMAZING time!!!!!

Guests - I thought all the guests were really good, Jamie especially who was the standout guest for me by far, his talk on sunday was my favourite of the weekend. I have to agree with prophecygirl on my opinion of Charlie but he did seem nice enough when you talked to him individually.

Venue - have to say I wasnt a fan of the Hilton at all to be honest. Far too big and too cold. It was like a maze trying to work out where things were so I think organisation wise more signs and things would have been good. Not a good venue for food and drink either, I wanted a malibu and lemonade on the friday night and it cost me £6! I stuck to just lemonade after that because anything else was too expensive.

Like others have said i think we need somewhere bigger than the Park Inn but smaller than the Hilton.

Parties - these were good i really enjoyed them, but I would say the smoke machine was quite over the top at times.

Attendees - as usual most people were lovely, especially for me as I pretty much went on my own i was overwelmed by how nice and welcoming everyone was so thankyou guys

(Except the girl who pretty much told me I was a bad twilight fan because I hadnt seen Hillywood before, that annoyed me)

Guests - Jamie and Chris were absolutely brilliant. Kiowa and Tinsel were sweet too although a lot more shy.

Venue - I am definately team Park Inn. The Hilton was freezing - even the bedrooms and just didnt feel as intimate as a smaller venue. Plus there are no shops and restaurants around so one of the only options is to order takeaway which is frowned upon but people were hungry!

Parties - The scenery was awesome and people had some cool costumes. It was really dark though and I did struggle to find people - perhaps I will attach all my friends to glow sticks next time then they cant hide from me. The music was a good mix and personally im a fan of smoke machines

Attendees - The majority of the attendees are awesome.

A brilliant weekend - the only real downside for me was my friend being upset. Christopher was her favourite guest and because the gold groups were called for his autograph last he was not doing personalisations by then - just a bit disappointing when you have paid so much to attend.

Also, people who pay for gold tickets pay for gold privileges - I dont buy gold tickets so I dont get to go to the drinks reception or sit at the front, I dont really think its that complicated. Some people seem to get a little confused though.

Guests

Charlie lived up to his expectations from proms for me, Lovely guy who is VERY honest with his answers in questions and doesn't sugar coat things, he loves giving back to his fans so tries to explain things in the best way for people. Charlie is one of the least arrogant people I have ever came across, and I'll continue supporting him <3

Chris out preformed my expectations, VERY funny guest. JCB was lovely, tinsel and Kiowa were sweet but quiet, I was quite upset they never came to the parties, not cus I wanted to hassle them or anything just to show face really.

EDIT: A wee thing about chris i thought was sweet, he wasnt doing personalisations, but cus he saw the rest of my book was personalised he did it anyway!

Venue

Love brum cus i get to see my mum, just thought things were laid out a bit weird.

Parties

Gold reception was really badly organised I thought we ended up with like 20 at our table :|

The rest of the parties were great though.

Attendees

Some of the reason i goto the cons is cus of the attendees, there are SO many nice people and I haven't laffed so much in a long long time, some of them have actually changed my life.

I've gotta say a LOT of the french girls came across incredibly rude, I know it wasn't all but the one's who were rude really annoyed me

He definately came, I didn't see him for very long though although he was around. The last time I saw him he was being followed by a load of people so I think he may have hid for a while  I don't blame him. They all went to the parties apart from Jamie, although I heard from someone that he was ill.

Awesome weekend!!

Awesome guests!!

The drinks reception on Friday was soo much fun! Great way of doing it with the smaller groups (for those people who think SM / ME dont listen, they do!)

I did get lost a few times over the weekend but I do think it was better than everybody crashing into each like at the Park Inn.

The queues werent an issue at all. On sunday the photoshoot queues were coming back on themselves but even so I didnt queue very long. I was very happy with my photos - the photographers should be thanked at this point (THANK YOU!!). I dont think they have the easiest of jobs.

The crew were great! Dont think anything went wrong at all (if it did, i didnt notice).

Finally: Mark, Jason, TT and everyone who organised the event, WELL DONE! Yet another amazing con

(And kudos on getting some amazing guests for ET4!)

I didn't particularly like the crowding outside of the talk room, nor outside the autograph room. Particularly the latter, as there was a very small space there.

It's just very tricky to have to see what's going on and then try and push your way through people because they're not listening to a word you say when you ask politely. As if you're not actually there.

No matter how many times people are told to come back and that they won't miss anything etc, they will still stand in one place obstructing everyone else because they just want what they want.

But then hey, the same happened when I tried to get the shuttle bus from the station to the event and people pushed in.

I guess some people are going to be inconsiderate and selfish no matter what.

Finally caught up on some sleep, so heres my thoughts......

I really liked the little food room that was set up for attendees. Made it possible for me to eat hot food over the weekend, as if it hadn't of been there I couldn't have afforded food. Maybe more variety for people that are vegetarian would have been good though! The Hilton in general is disgustingly over priced!!!

I thought the seating for the talks was done very fairly & got a good view most of the weekend, so that was great.

My signings and photoshoots went very smoothly and I got everything I wanted. Did have a slight problem with a Jamie signing I was getting done for my friend. One of the crew members ticked Jamie's box, when I was going to meet Charlie and didn't tell me of the error, so I had to chase around some crew members to get it sorted, but it did get sorted!!! Thanks to Too Tall & Moira for the help!!

I'm slightly concerned that some people didn't get their Christopher autographs as his session was closed before some people got through. for ET 4 my number is going to be much higher, so I do fear this could happen to me, as there is expected to be more attendees.

I desperatly miss the Park Inn. The intimacy and the atmosphere was so much better there. I knew whenever I walked down a corridor or went in the lift I would see someone I know, but this time I went the whole weekend without seeing some friends at all, I actually felt fairly isolated at times.

I felt things were spread out much too much and there weren't enough signs to tell us where we needed to go. It took us ages to find registration, we walked in circles for a while!!

We had to do so much walking in the hotel, it did get very old. I hate to think how people with leg / walking problems may have coped!!

There was a certain element of attendees that weren't quite as pleasant as they could have been, mostly orginating from one not so distant country. Several times on the dancefloor we pushed and punched as these certain girls wanted to get past and didn't have the decency to just ask politely. This obviously isn't SMs fault at all, I just don't get why people can't be polite??!

The stand out guests for me were Jamie Cambell Bower & Christopher Heyerdahl - IMO the weekend wouldn't have been half as fun without them!!

Charlie was great in his photoshoots & I loved that he took the time to come to the parties (well tried too, before being mobbed) I don't know if other guests came to the parties or anything, but as the hotel was so vast I guess it may have been hard to see them anyway.

The smoke machine in the parties was pretty unbearable. We could have patented the wafting dancemove we had to create to get the smoke out of our faces. For people with asthma and chest problems it must have been horrendous!!

I also agree that it was terribly dark. I had alot of trouble finding my friends.

I loved the Golden Nugget saloon and the bouncy castle and fun fair items at the parties. They were a great idea!!

There were quite big lulls with nothing to do. At Northampton it was really nice, as you could pop into the town, but at the Hilton it just isn't possible.

I know it would be really hard to arrange, but maybe try and get peole into their groups and do a pub quiz or have a room allocated for socialising - especially if The Hilton is kept as the venue. I found it quite difficult to meet people this time around, again due to the vastness.

I've now attended every Twilight event you have run & sadly I have to say this has been my least favorite. I really do hope that ET 4 gets back some of the wonderful atmosphere that we felt at the previous events!!

So this was my first convention and I'm so glad I went. Not only did I have a blast with my bestie (BeckyBooBearBum) I meet a bunch of people that made the whole weekend awesome.

GUESTS

Jamie was by far my favourite of the guest... I was so excited when they announced him and he didnt let us down. Him telling us about how he wasn't wearing pants and hinting about cheese. He was so random it made the weekend. He was really sweet during my photo too, they had to do it a couple of times and apparently 'I threw him out' because I swapped sides but he was 'lovely' none the less. Oh and I got told off for talking too much.... I'M REALLY SORRY... I don't know how to do quiet but I'll try harder next time.

Tinsel was sooo freaking sweet too... She apologised for not replying to a our tweets when something we said jogged her memory. She took the time out to talk to us even though the queue was really long.

PARTIES

Saturday night party

Admittedly we were reasonably intoxicated before we even made it down there. We were talking to Charlie outside the front for a while, he was really down to earth and gave me a hug which was sweet (plus he smelt heavenly.... just saying) but he made a run for it when a bunch of girls in the reception spotted him and looked like they were gonna pounce.

The music was awesome... come on who else finishes the evening with... 'two little ducks were swimming in the water'. We were asked to politely leave at about 3... after a quick change of clothes... we headed to the lounge where I had the pleasure of staying up til 4.30am with my girls, talking with Jason, Giles and Stef whilst eating cake. BEST. NIGHT. EVER!

Sunday night party

Bungie cords were a great idea and the tent in the corner was a great photo op. It was kinda quiet as a lot of people had gone home which made the room really spaced out. Still had a fab time though.

The smoke machine did me in... it went straight to my chest - maybe not so smoke happy at ET4?

BREAKS

Ok maybe there isn't much to do in between talks, photos and signings but I for one was happy that I could have a quick sleep on the Sunday afternoon.... considering the lack of sleep the night before it was just what I needed.

HOTEL

It was cold... and took us a couple of attempts to check in... though the did sort it out straight away. Food and drink was so expensive... I was glad I took a bunch of things with me. It kept me going and the cost down. Vegetarian choices strongly lacked too.

Oh and I was a little narked that I was asked to go and get changed this morning when I went for breakfast... I was wearing sweats and a tshirt... admittedly I had slippers on, but its cos my feet hurt. I'm not sure how I could of offended anyone over their sausage and bacon with my choice of pink fluffy footwear but it kinda put a dampener on my morning.

CHRISTOPHERS SIGNING

I was disappointed that we didnt have time to get it personalised, like a lot of the others have said, it wouldnt have taken a couple of seconds to write a name. He was so apologetic about it too. Made up for it this morning though with cuddles when he left the hotel.

ATTENDEES

Although most of the people there were amazing... (our neighbours in room 2061 were lovely!) the girls sat in front of us in the talks were really loud and screaming stuff out. That's fine, I'm not quiet as my friends will know, but seriously, for the love of sparkly things, think about the people around you... (many of us had hangovers  )

The girl dressed as Jane at the Saturday night party was awesome! And she even let me take her photo. Oh and there was a girl in a gold dress (a bit like Belle from Beauty and the Beast) If you're reading this or you know her.... You looked beautiful!

CREW

You guys worked so hard and it was great. Give yourselves a pat on the back for everything. By far it was nice having some down time with the guys on Saturday night. Hearing about other things they've done was so funny, but we promised we'd not mention stuff so yeah I'll leave it at that.

All in all a fantastic time. Cannot wait until ET4...

Sorry for rambling... just erm yeah... still on somewhat of a high... oh and outta interest.... did Kiowa actually make is flight on time?!?!

ok, here's my two penny's worth ;)

I've not been to the previous ET's, nore any sort of twicon so I came to this with fresh eyes :)

It's true what they say, you can't really know how anyone is going to be... I LOVED  chris! he is one funny funny FUNNY man! and very engaging! I will admit he was the guest I was unsure about and he completely blew me out of the water! and the hug before he left this morning was lovely; he didn't have to, but he hugged a few of us in the lobby = truely nice bloke! JAMIE CAMBELL-BOWER is...in fact...a LEGEND! I laughed so hard in his talks! ...all the inuendo, all the raised eyebrows and giggling! and breaking the ice by making the announcement he was without underwear for his solo talk was inspired! I was looking forward to meeting Tinsel and she was as lovely as she comes across in interviews etc! love that girls giggle, and her voice is just amazing! Charlie was a little fed up by the last talk sunday i think ... and kiowa (?) he must have been knackered with all the yawning he was doing...no wonder he was so late for his ride to the airport this morning :S

The Hilton was not what I was expecting. I thought it would be a little more up-market :S the prices of the food and drink were so pretentious!!! seriously...the hotel isn't THAT great!!! i paid almost £5 for a mocha at the costa... I can buy two drinks and a muffin for a fiver at a normal Costa!!! The room where the guests were signing was so cold!!! i felt very sorry for the guys sat signing for hours! My friend Vikki gave Tinsel her mittens to stop her hands from being so cold! Also the 'talk' room was freezing too! I understand it would be just as uncomfortable if it was too warm...but sheesh!

Me and my bestie pixie_tinks showed up early on saturday morning so missed the friday night party, but saturdays party was brilliant! we may or may not have been a little drunk  and we may or may not have been up till 4:30 in the lobby bar with some of the staff members feeding them with our cakes we made and brought with us! The rave music at 3am was epic :D , and i still haven't got ""~~all the ducks are swimming in the water~~"" out of my head yet! Kudos to all you guys who were there till the end song with us! :D The sunday night party wasn't as good but I think that maybe mainly due to the lack of people who stayed for it (and the fact that after our very bad hangovers we didn't drink..oh and the 2 hours sleep :WINCE: ). We left at 12...we just couldn't keep our eyes open any longer.

I was VERY disappointed with the lack of guest 'down time' participation. I know charlie made the effort on the friday night and was mobbed (which to be honest, i think is the reason why they all stayed away), Chris showed up on the saturday for a short while and charlie braved it once more on the sunday... but i think all in all I may have spent about 2-3 minutes with each guest this whole weekend (that'd be photo op and autograph time) ...again, disappointing. I was expecting a bit more of a relaxed mingling atmosphere...

HUGE kudos to the staff!!! I know they have a lot to put up with but they kept us all in line and moving! Super doooooper friendly! YOU GUYS ROCK! especially you guys in the lobby at 4am filling up on our cookies and muffins (eat your heart out emily!) Infact me and pixie_tinks are considering volunteering for future cons!

So yeah, wow, that went on a little longer than I was aiming for :WINCE: ...all in all i'm looking forward to ET4!!! I WILL be bringing my own food and erm... drink  again... (£15 for fish n chips?!?! :D )

THANKYOU everyone for making it so good!!! especially you pixie_tinks! :D

Finally home! Totally knackered, but oh so happy!

Having only experienced The Proms before I was happy to see not much changed.

Tired but here goes:

FAB guests! Yes Kiowa was a little quiet - but he tried and it must be hard for someone so young to be up there with much louder and talkative guests, several times he did start to speak and got Charlied - don't kill me but you know what I mean!! (still love Charlie and so happy that I got to meet him again) - went to a guest encounter with Kiowa and I have to say he is such a nice guy!

Loved Jamie - such a random person and so sad that he had to leave early.

Venue - I like the Hilton, ok it's miles from anywhere but it has the space to accomadate everyone.

Parties - Themes were good and everyone who dressed up looked amazing - music seemed to be on a loop and got repeated nightly, little tiresome after 3 nights. Too dark, too smokey and finishing at 12.30 on the Sunday was pants! Ended up sitting in the bar area till 3ish and spent a fortune! Also I think that an area should have been roped off like at Proms so that if the guests did want to come and mingle they could have somewhere to go - the mobbing is stupid and the silly people who do it need to grow up as they are spoiling the night for everyone else who would be happy to just enjoy the night knowing that the guests were having as much of a good time as we did.

Talks - grrrrrr!!! This isn't the staff or guests fault but ours! Sorry - saving seats for people who had "gone to get a camera" who then turned up and handed the gold pass back to the person it belonged to is out of order, people taking seats during the breaks, standing up to take photos - I was third row and had an amazing view - except when the person in front of me stood up every time she wanted to take a picture - SECOND ROW - WHY STAND UP?????

Overall - fantasic, I loved everyone guest, every person I spoke to, the friends I made etc etc.

See you in October!!

Ummm no major complaints really...Just think that maybe next time if possible you guys should keep the con closer together and not so spread out. All the guests were great, Jamie, Tinsel and Charlie were amazinggggg and Chrisopher was hilarious. Just a shame that it always seemed to be the same group of people crowding the guests all the time and following them around.

As for the parties, I gotta be honest and say I don't remember Friday night  Saturday was...Okay. Sunday was better, there weren't many people at the party so we all just sat in a huge circle outside and had lots of fun. But I don't get why the DJ put Hoedown Throwdown on as the last song Sunday night when so many people wanted to do it and like...It's not exactly a closing song :/ Also so much of the music was repeated each night..Kinda got boring

My only major complaint about the weekend is the size of the venue, really, which a lot of people have actually mentioned. I just found it made the whole weekend extremely tiring having to go from one place to another and back again when everything was so spread out but that's a personal discomfort. It did make it a lot less claustrophobic than the Park Inn though, which I did actually miss a lot, but the Hilton was a nice hotel :) The only other complain I have about it is the prices of food :P and the reaction of one of the reception dudes when me and Chelsea asked for a Dominos menu :') He didn't like me. xD

I wasn't at the actual parties for very long so I don't really have much to say about the music, and I didn't notice any games or whatever, but I liked the size of the room. :) And I was dissappointed I didn't get a go on the bouncy castle :o xD

Can't comment on Auto/Photos much because I didn't get any, but the queues seemed long enough when I walked by?

I think Friday night was the highlight for me, because of certain drunk people :') xD Saturday night wasn't so good although I do have fond memories of conversations in Katie and Chelsea's room. Especially cheese, muffins and balloons. :P

I only noticed a certain group of attendees hogging the guests, but apart from them it was awesome that they werent mobbed. :')

The talks! They were amazing. They were totally worth going to! Jamie's talk on his own was my favourite, I love that man. :') can't believe he abandond us for the BAFTAS :o xD

The guests were fantastic. I've completely fallen in love with Charlie Bewley :) and Jamie was hilarious. I was completely surprised by Christopher, I didn't have any expectations but he was great :') i didn't really get any interaction with Tinsel or Kiowa but they were great in the talks.

Err I think that's about it. :')

^^ LMAO the guy when we asked for the menu :| 'This is a hotel you know not a place to order food' :|

All the talks about muffins and cheese and then the guests talked about them *dies*

I was terrified to talk to him after that xD

AHAHAH oh my god yes, as soon as they said the word cheese I was in fits of laughter xD Everyone looked at me like... what? xD And Tinsel's muffins. xD Not sure if her muffins are as good as Katie's though...

Guests

When I heard the full list of guests announced, I felt slightly disappointed (don’t mob me!), however, I thoroughly enjoyed ET3 a lot more than I enjoyed ET1, which had the majority of the main cast in it! I felt that each of the guests were hilarious and entertaining in their own right (especially Jamie and Christopher) and even to an extent Kiowa, even though he was a lot more subtly funny, I loved listening to his voice, which often sounded like he was dreaming - although he appeared despondent in some places, I think he’s really just shy. I can’t complain about the guests, however, on a side note, I am slightly disappointed to have Peter at ET4, as I have previously met him - however, this is great for people that haven’t been with ET from the start, of course!!! :)

Guest Encounter

On the Sunday I managed to win a guest encounter with Kiowa, which was absolutely amazing. Even though we had to wait for a bit because he ran off to the NEC :P We started by introducing ourselves, which seemed to go down well, and we seemed to get a lot of laughs as a group, and a lot of inside information. We also learnt more about his band. I also thought that the staff that were in this Guest Encounter were really, really nice and didn’t seem too overbearing - the type that were about to lunge at us if we got to close to him :P so, a big thanks to them individually and our group for being calm and collected, despite the previous talks J

Venue

I personally loved the event being held in Birmingham, as I live relatively close by (an hour away), this made the event a lot more accessible. I also loved the fact that the Hilton was big, as it meant you weren’t constantly walking into other attendees. It also meant you had some room to breathe when you queued up for Photo shoots and Signings. I also thought that the way the Photoshoot session rooms were laid out were awesome, as they allowed you to see what other people were doing before you - inspire you in a sense, which made my photos A LOT more entertaining, especially with Jamie and Charlie. J I think that people complaining that the hotel was too big is slightly unfair, since at the Park Inn it was slightly cramped during photoshoots. On another note, I absolutely loved how things were set out at ET4, really impressed in regards to the photoshoots (with the ticket vouchers) and at the singings where the no Photo rule was really enforced, as opposed to ET1.

Guest Talks

The guest talks were actually really, really good. However, I have a few negatives that were perhaps not ME’s fault at all. I’m sorry to sound horrible here, but during the talks the row of people behind and in front of me were translating what the guests were saying awfully loudly during the talks, which made it not only distracting, but also very irritating. I also wished that perhaps the questions for the guests had been more even - which would have given Tinsel and Kiowa more room to speak. On another note, the row in front of me (I was silver) consisted of both Silver and Standards, as the row had saved seats for their friends, which gave an unfair advantage to the standards, when silver’s had paid more. But otherwise, they were really great!

Attendees

On the whole I thought that the attendees were very sweet, aside from a few French girls that were making fun of the girls surrounding me (in French, which I can understand), so I was slightly upset to hear the word wh*** being thrown around. However, the majority of French people that I spoke to were actually really kind. Regardless, the guests I met in Kiowa’s guest talk especially were really friendly and sensitive people who managed to be considerate and sweet, which bought him out of his shell. Thanks a lot ME/Showmasters.
