ruth76
My train tickets still show up as the standard £91 if I put the route in directly (and I've never seen cheap advance fares for it, despite checking every day since December), but I bought separate tickets for the Newcastle to Birmingham and the Birmingham to Northampton parts of the journey and got them for £80, which included going first class from Newcastle to Birmingham and back! Which I thinks pretty good!
owlpost1992
Best bet is to wait as the advanced fares are not yet released (currently looking at a mind numbing £52!). You sure they haven't been and gone? Its usually 12 weeks before they go online. That can vary if there's engineering. My usual ticket price is £42 even as an adult and if this is the cost to get there then Hub is completely undoable. Plus there's no advanced fares between Bristol and Northampton. TerraHawk
When did you last go? Prices went up in the new year, I think there's less tickets available for advanced now as well. It makes it more pricey for me, that's for sure, but I rely on different lines
owlpost1992
Last would be Hub 3, trainline had prices to Birm Int at the same price as Northampton. I know prices went up but it can't have been by £10! =p
captaincarpet
I've forgotten about this for about three days, now I've been reminded - GAH I'M SO EXCITED!
