Spoilers Ahead

* Before the tapings started, the Impact Zone crowd was addressed by members of the TNA staff. They talked to the crowd about not cursing, making obscene gestures, or gang signs. They called the crowd 'cast members' and basically told the crowd that they needed to be quiet.

What!!!!!! They told the crowd to behave, the crowd that have been the heart and soul of TNA since day one. The people who week in and week out go to the Impact Zone and voice their support………this just beggers belief it really does.

* Hernandez and Matt Morgan defeated The British Invasion to retain the TNA Tag Titles. During the match, Rob Terry came out and had his X Division Title shot briefcase. Brutus tried to use the briefcase on Hernandez during the match, but he missed and hit Doug Williams instead. Hernandez pinned Williams.

No problem with this

* After the match, Mick Foley came out and he hit Rob Terry with a chair. After Hernandez and Morgan left the ring, Foley said something to the camera that could not be heard by the crowd.

Pointless crap

* After pyro goes off, Ric Flair comes to the ring with two women. Flair says that he hates Hulk Hogan, but he loves TNA. Flair says that he is here to find the next 'Nature Boy'. Flair then brings out the 'next heavyweight champion' A.J. Styles. Styles comes to the ring in a suit and he is accompanied by a woman. Styles puts over the beautiful women in the ring and then the crowd chants 'You are married'. This causes Styles to laugh and there was an awkward pause. A.J. cuts a promo that utilized a style similar to his new mentor.

Think the crowd summed it all up very well really didn’t they. This kind of gimmick doesn’t work in the 21st century, especially for a small company like TNA where the faithful fans know all there is to know about the wrestlers. The fact that AJ is being dragged down by this nonsense is just dumb dumb dumb, trouble is he’d be buried in WWE so if I was him id go make a living in Japan.

* Kurt Angle comes to the ring with Hulk Hogan. Hogan says that he has changed his mind about Genesis being Angle's last title shot because he runs the show. Hogan announces that Kurt Angle versus A.J. Styles will happen tonight. Hogan says that it is 'damn real'.

Do we need anymore evidence that Hogan and co are running the place into the ground. Lets make a stipulation and then go back on it the very next night, utter garbage.

* Orlando Jordan defeats D'Angelo Dinero with a Flatliner.

NO NO NO, Someone call the Taker, he needs to lay TNA to rest as the company is on its last legs

* It was announced that Ken Anderson will face Jeff Jarrett tonight.

* Angelina Love defeated Madison Rayne after a bicycle kick. After the match, Love ripped Madison's shirt off and choked her with it. Velvet and Lacey come to the ring and they attack Love with the 'ugly stick'.

Again don’t really have a problem with this.

* Hogan and Bischoff come out. They are tired of The Band running around and they want to see them wrestle. The Band come out and Waltman is smoking. Hogan says that since they don't have contracts, they don't have contracts, they don't work for TNA. Hogan has security escort them out of the building.

The fact that the Band are eating up airtime when we don’t see Samoa Joe (who also wasn’t at the PPV) is a joke. Now they’ve been escorted out of the building which just means over the next few weeks we’ll have to put up with them attacking and laying out people for no reason other than they are Hogans mates.

* Nasty Boys defeated Kevin Nash and Eric Young when Saggs pinned Young after a pumphandle drop.

If you thought Daniels losing to Sean Morley or the Pope losing to Orlando Jordan was bad then Eric Young losing to the Nasty Boys just got my vote as worst booking decision of the year. These idiots shouldn’t be anywhere near a ring (neither should Nash) let alone beating someone of the quality of Eric Young. Yet another victory chalked up to the pointless old guys over the young guys who quite frankly should all be asking for their releases right now.

* Mr. Anderson comes to the ring to cut a promo. He talks about his victory over Abyss at Genesis. Abyss is standing behind him and he attacks Anderson until Anderson is able to get out of the ring.

Pointless

* A.J. Styles defeated Kurt Angle with an ankle lock. This match was described as an 'Orlando Screw Job'. Earl Hebner was the referee for this match and he had them ring the bell. Styles, Flair, and Hebner left the ringside area. After the match, Hulk Hogan came out and Angle spat in his face. Angle went to the announce table and took Mike Tenay's chair and throw it into the stage.

This just simply defies belief. Its bad enough that TNA decided to book this garbage in the first place and make reference to an incident that happened in another company 12 years ago. The fact that they dragged down their two best talents in AJ and Angle with this crap is monumentally stupid (im being polite). When Hogan and co signed on I said to my friends that it had the potential to be huge and to finally push TNA to the next level, my fear was however that Hogan and co would book the place into the ground and we would just end up with WCW redux.

Alas it is the latter that is happening, youd like to think that theyre doing it deliberately in order to suddenly pull it out of the bag and have an amazing show, unfortunately I think they believe they are having amazing shows now and it just shows how out of touch with the real world Hogan, Bischoff and co really are. Rehashing all the old WCW gimmicks is not genius booking and the fact that Eric has said hes a bigger creative genius than Vince is the best joke of the year, closely followed by Hogans claims that his phone rang off the hook with WWE talent all wanting to jump ship. The only people who want in on TNA right now are those who want a quick payday before the ship sinks.

It must be really disheartening for the originals to see the writing on the wall. They’ll all have watched WCW as it disappeared down the toilet and now theyre watching the company they worked so hard to build crumble and go the same way. This would be good for Vince as he could either do the whole invasion thing properly or he could sign all those guys who want out of the wreck that is TNA. Alas history has taught us that Vince doesn’t work like that and either way he’ll just bury anyone who jumps to his company regardless of how good they are.

* Eric Bischoff comes out with blood on his forehead and states that Mick Foley is fired and then he leaves.

Just more of the above…………absolute crap

* In an Xplosion Match: Dr. Stevie defeated Homicide with a Stevie-T.

Pointless

* Desmond Wolfe defeated Sean Morley with the Tower of London. This was a qualifying match for a tournament at Against All Odds to determine the number one contender for the TNA World Heavyweight Title at Lockdown.

Thank goodness, though the fact that Morley had another match but theres no sign of Joe is, well something I cant type here

Hernandez defeated Daniels in another qualifying match for the tournament at Against All Odds.

* Ken Anderson defeats Jeff Jarrett after a low blow. Jarrett tried for the Stroke during the match but Anderson used the low blow. After the match, Anderson hit the Mic Check and then did his usual mic work.

I don’t know if Anderson is a face or a heel and quite frankly I don’t care.

This is not a spoiler or anything to do with the on air product..yet.!

Bubba The Love Sponge, a controversial SHock Jock DJ - and Hogan's BOY!! - made diabaraging comments about the Haiti Disaster.

Big mistake in TNA...aside from Dixie Carter and TNA raising money to help, Awesome Kong has been helping with the aid effort.

Kong heard about these comments and punched him twice in what 99% pf people are saying is LEGIT. Both Bubba and Kong were sent home.

There is a minority 1% of people being sceptical sayign it is a work as Hogan and Bischoff are in TNA, but I don't think so.

Bubba has been slating Eric Bischoff on Twitter. And today, Hogan was weirdly supporting Bubba on his radio show. Now, what is very strange is that Hogan is doing this as he is not staying in character and the comments were said to be like two guys shooting the breeze so to speak.

I couldn't see TNA making light of the Haiti Disaster, which is something this would be doing if it were a work. If tis is a legit altercation, then it is another sign of Hogan being in TNA to get his money and then leave. As days pass, it wouldn't shock me if he runs TNA into the ground, leaves and returns to the WWE saying he did it for Vince. That would be something both would do.

Also, note that Kong decked a hotel resident who started on her boyfriend when on tour recently. Nothing was done about it as she was seen as doing it to protect her partner. It seems she is not a woman to cross.

With Jeff not having as much stroke as he used to, I am wondering if Hogan et al took advantage of Jeff's enforced time off after it was revealed he was dating Karen Angle. Have TNA and Panda Energy got in so deep that it would cost too much to buy out the contracts?

Orlando Jordan over The Pope - the hottest property in TNA at the moment?

The Nasty Boys pinning Eric Young.....oh my lord...

I truly share your fears Jake...

If Eric owned the trademark for WCW you know that TNA would have a name change as well.

When I first heard about Hogan and Eric going is I was like this might be interesting, but boy I was wrong!!

Morley! Orlando! Nasty Boyz! By god they are killing the brand

I can understand them getting Ken Anderson the guy "could" be great if he is with the right people and was never really used in WWE.

Dixie needs to take back control of TNA now!!

No more six sides of steel! What about Ulimate X, Will look like s**t in a four sided ring!!

TNA RIP!!

The x division style doesn't fit with the crummy wcw ramp though.

As for new fans its unlikely. Wwe fans will say it confirms everything they thought of tna, old wcw fans will recognise the beginning of the end and tna fans hate what's happening to their product, I say their product since they're cast members apparently, god help us.

I am waiting for them to ban the Amzing Red hand gesture!!! Gang signs my rear end...

I must say that I was wondering why the dozen or so regulrs on the camera side ringside had been moved back to the balcony...they are a staple part of the Impact Zone and travel to non Orlando based PPVs.

You do not spit int he face of proper fans (not the Unversal Studios visitors who get in for free) when you are as small as TNA. The WWE don't do it, so why do they try.

It is depressing. I feel for guys like Joe, Daniels and AJ. The Guns, Desmond Wolfe, Kurt Angle. These guys breath TNA.

It is like watching someone on life support slowly ebbing away. You can't help but cry for them.

You want to see Dixie and ask her one question...WHY?

The x division style doesn't fit with the crummy wcw ramp though.

I know what you mean. The over the top rope stuff is now going to be impossible. That one area by the front of the 6 Sided Ring was great for high spots. There isn't enough room around the ring now.

As good as it was I still prefer and love the first ons, rvd frim the heart, awesome vs tanaka, jbl being pulled from the ring after beung assaulted for real by ecw originals and heyman shooting from the hip, fantastic allround.

And Vince knew something like this was going to happen. The biggest mistake that he made was taking ECW national. He should have kept it in Philly in the same way Impact is done in Orlando. Have it as a seperate show with occasional visits to and from Raw and Smackdown. It is what they should do when ECW disappears this year when it turns into a break through show bringing up the new talent. Get local hardcore wrestling fans as regulars to give some atmosphere. Then you keep it seperate and something special when they move up to the main roster.

Just when you thought TNA couldnt get any worse

Spoilers Ahead

TV Tapings with my thoughts

Samoa Joe defeats Jesse Neal via muscle buster.

Way to use the supposed no.1 contender case holder, put him over Jesse Neal who has had no relevance at all since Hogan turned up as they’ve dropped the Team 3d/Rhino/Neal faction

Sarita and Taylor Wilde defeat ODB and Traci Brooks when Wilde got a victory roll on Traci.

Bischoff said that last week Hogan made it clear that he and Foley needed to get along and that Foley wants no part of that. Mick comes out. Foley puts over that he likes everybody but Eric is an exception. Calls Eric the opposite of everything that he believes in. Foley mentions how he came into the business as a salesman. Eric says it's not about the two of them but it's about Foley's decision. Foley mentions that Eric has messed with the lives of Jeremy Borash and Abyss. Eric says that if Foley won't turn to get on the same page then he will have to. Mick says that Eric has not learned from WCW. Eric says that he still holds Abyss and Borash's futures in his hands. Since Foley attacked Nash backstage Foley will face Nash tonight in a no disqualification match.

Get Bischoff off my screen NOW!!!

Mike Tenay is in the ring and he introduces the Nasty Boys who will be facing Team 3D at Against All Odds. He then introduces Team 3D. Crowd chants 'Kill the Nastys' and 'We don't need you'. Ray calls the Nastys punks. He then says that last week they wrapped chairs around their heads. Ray asks where they have been for the last ten years. Saggs says they are still nasty. Devon puts over their accomplishments. Knobbs says that on Valentine's Day they will kick the crap out of them.

For the love of god!!!

Kevin Nash defeats Mick Foley via a boot to the face. Hall and Waltman enter through the crowd and laid out Nash after the match before leaving.

The hardcore legend beaten by a boot to the face. The band beating each other up, why is this on a wrestling show in 2010

D'Angelo Dinero defeats Orlando Jordan via DDE.

Why is Jordan employed

Ken Anderson and Kurt Angle defeats Desmond Wolfe and Hernandez when Anderson pinned Wolfe. Angle and Anderson had communication problems throughout the match. After Angle hit the angle slam on Wolfe Anderson made a blind tag and to get the victory.

As best I can tell from before this match Anderson is a heel, Angle is a face, Wolfe is defo a heel and Hernandez is one half od the tag champs so why in gods name is he tagging with Wolfe. TNA is a wounded animal, I think the kindest thing to do would be to put it down and end this nonsense before it gets worse.

They shoot the opening for the February 11th episode.

Hulk Hogan comes out and says everyone is talking about TNA. He says tonight the impact zone is on full lockdown. He has done this because of The Band taking out Nash last week. Eric Young comes out and says that he and Nash are friends and wants Waltman and Hall to be let in. Hogan says that Eric is one of the handful of guys that made him want to come to TNA. He says that the lockdown is a done deal. He says he would do what Nash would do and go out to them. Hogan says just take it off the property and 'bust them up real good'. The two shake hands.

Eric Lives!!!!!!! So the building is lockdowned because two drunk, over the hill idiots beat up another past it old timer last week, how will TNA cope with the invasion of these outsiders, sorry I mean band. Hogan is a face again now huh, even though the crowd has turned on him and Bischoff appears to be a heel

For February 11 Impact

Matt Morgan defeats Suicide via Carbon Footprint in an Against All Odds tournament qualifier.

TNA X Division Champion Doug Williams defeats Amazing Red via Chaos Theory to retain the TNA X Division title.

When did Williams win the title, I missed that one, probably a good match though

The Beautiful People (Lacey Von Erich, Velvet Sky and Madison Rayne) defeat TNA Knockouts Champion Tara and Angelina Love in a Handicap match. Angelina had Velvet down for the three count, but the referee was distracted by Madison having Tara in a choke. While the referee was distracted Lacey hit Angelina with the ugly stick allowing Velvet to pin Love. After the match the Beautiful People beat down Tara and Angelina with Lacey hitting Tara with the ugly stick.

Angle comes out in his ring gear. He calls out Hogan's boys. (Maybe he was jumped in the back) Waltman and Hall come in through the crowd. Angle gets the upper hand and puts Hall in the ankle lock. Waltman pulls out brass knuckles and hits Angle in the back of the head with them. Hall and Waltman put the boots to Angle until Hogan comes out and appears to be aligned with Hall and Waltman. Hall and Waltman pick up angle so Hogan can lay Angle out with the brass knuckles. Hogan hits both Hall and Waltman instead and leaves the ring. Angle has a confused look on his face as Hogan heads to the back.

So he calls out Hogans boys even though Hogan told Eric to go bust them up earlier in the night, surely this is all the evidence you need that Hogans not ‘with’ them…..oh yeah I forgot this is WCW lite, logic doesn’t factor into the booking. Hogan gets physically involved OMG please no, not a tag match between Hogan and Nash/Angle and the band, that will just be horrible beyond belief. Knowing Hogan he probably thinks getting back in the ring will improve ratings!!

If its Hogan teaming with Kurt then poor Kurt is about to get turned on in the land of the swerve and the band will truly be back together

BTW, any chance we could see the likes of the Gunns, Beer Money, Daniels or I don’t know the world champ instead of all this rubbish??

Just a thought

By god!! Watched IMPACT on Bravo at the weekend and what a poor poor show.

Ric Flair - Retire for good and let AJ do what he does best wrestle.

Ken Anderson - Yes he is doing the same thing he did in WWE, but I think he was a good pick for TNA. I do think that the fact he is working with Abyis is nothing but good for both of them, it will help Abyis go to the next level or mainstream.

Eric/Hulk - Just get off TV.

The Band - And the point of this is?

Sean Morley - This guy need shooting.

The Nastys - Getting more air time them Joe, Daniels!! What the f**k is up with that. Knobs must of sucked something of hulks to get this gig!!

Also hate, hate, hate, hate, hate that four sided ring....TNA in my eyes will always be the unique six sided ring. BRING IT BACK!!

I give up!!!

According to The Honky Tonk Man's website, the longest-running Intercontinental champion of all time is close to signing with TNA.

In an email sent to promote the website, webmaster Steve Wilton stated that the two parties have been in talks since December.

I saw about Savage..Hogan is talking him up saying he needs to get in shape, dye his beard black and help him show people how to work. In other words, expect Savage sometime soon.

If Honky Tonk comes in, it will (I hope so) be a one shot deal as I can't see him doing anything. He would make The Nasty Boys look like stellar technical wrestlers.

Hogan has point blank said Warrior won't be coming.

DDP has done his annual "I have been talking to TNA" crap. He always talks about them, but never comes in.

The AJ going blonde thing will look awful unless he grows his hair more. He apparently may have a final say on whether he does it.

Feast or Fired is apparently done. They may do something similar to Money In The Bank, but dispense with all titles bar the World Title. It was okay for a couple of years, but this years was tragic. The X Division Title Shot briefcase was wasted. Joe will more than likely not win the title from AJ. And Nash has the title shot.

I have never seen wrestling go downhill so fast.

And the ptomo this week on Raw with Cena and Vince was mind blowing. There were probably so many people queuing up to fill in for Cena knwoing that he would say what he said. And how true he was!!!
