Great guest announcement. I'm also hoping for Sir Roger, Walken and Grace Jones. Ive been lucky enough in the past to meet Grace Jones and she was lovely. SunSpeed
Yes, a View to a Kill reunion!! One of my favourite Bond movies and dosen't deserve the criticism it has had over the years.
MikeDonovan
Yes, a View to a Kill reunion!! One of my favourite Bond movies and dosen't deserve the criticism it has had over the years. It had its good points, but it wasn't one of the stronger efforts IMHO. Moore was starting to get a bit long in the tooth, which is fine, but worse than that he was what, 35 years older than some of the Bond girls? Still it was better than Octopussy, which was utter drivel. I think he went two movies too far - should have left after For Your Eyes Only. PaulWeston
Fantastic guest, although I would not normally be as pleased with a minor character. I am lucky enough to have a signed picture, as shown, by Grace (from a friend of mine). What an addition to have him on it. If there's more AVTAK guests let's hope they are some bigger names in there too and not just extras at the party. As well as the obvious Walken (which I very much doubt is possible), let's hope that Alison Doody, Fiona Fullerton, Patrick Bauchau or even Patrick Macnee please show. The comments I've read about AVTAK are to be expected. It's a fond favourite of mine and is miles better than one or two other Bond movies. And I don't mind there being guests who were 'extras' in AVTAK, as I don't have their autographs. I'd like to see Toni White at Autographica, and the actress who played Conley's date at Zorin's chateau party. Oh don't get me wrong, it was far from the worst Bond movie - I have a lot of nostalgia for it too. I'd rank it comfortably better than Diamonds Are Forever, The Man With The Golden Gun, Octopussy, Tomorrow Never Dies, Die Another Day... In fact I'd put it in the top half, now I think about it. It was great having Walken and Macnee on board, you can't beat the song - and it was a *huge* improvement on Octopussy. But I can't help but wonder how things would have turned out if Sam Neil would have got the role... or maybe had Dalton come in early... I loved The Living Daylights. let's hope that Alison Doody, Patrick Bauchau or even Patrick Macnee please show. Doody would be a dream guest for me, for Indiana Jones and The Last Crusade. I would have thought that SM would have approached her before during the "Indy Reunions" and I'm presuming she wasn't interested... I hope I'm wrong though!
