Crossover confusion

I fully realise the irony of a massive Lost fan who shrugs off all things "popular", but I have finally given in and recently started watching CSI Vegas. God it's good ! I have just finished the first series, and am conscious that there are crossovers on the horizon.

So when do I need to start watching Miami and New York ? and am I right in thinking that they kick off in that order ? I know I have asked a few of you this directly, but I'm just opening it up to the floor :(

Thanks .....

CSI Vegas' 22nd episode of S2 serves as the pilot to Miami.

CSI Miami's 23rd episode of S2 serves as the pilot to New York.

So basically, viewing should go:

CSI Vegas S1

CSI Vegas S2

CSI Vegas S3/CSI Miami S1

CSI Vegas S4/CSI Miami S2

CSI Vegas S5/CSI Miami S3/CSI New York S1

And then carry on with all of them.

There have been a couple of crossovers between two shows, and recently a trilogy crossover this season, but you won't have to worry about that for ages.

Also an official crossover episode with Without A Trace/CSI Vegas in 2007.

Or you can do what I did, watch 5 seasons of Las Vegas. Then watch a season of Miami and get so impatient to watch New York that you watch it straight after Miami.

After being told I suck for only ever having watched a couple of episodes of any CSI (also NCIS), **ducks to avoid thrown objects**, I thought I better do it properly. This helps working out where to start. Thanks :whistling:

You also have a Two and a Half Men/ CSI Las Vegas crossover - no, I am not joking.

Seriously which season/ep? I think I missed that one!

Much as I've tried I've never managed to really get into Miami, I think it's because of the city though, not necessarily the characters, I like some of the characters, but I think New York & Las Vegas both have that dark side that is more well known? *shurg*

I got into all these shows via dvd, think im upto 7 on vegas, 5 on miami and only 1 on new york. with csi you dont really need knowledge of the spin offs to enjoy one of the other shows.

vegas is the best BUT david caruso and lots of explosions and gun fights are in miami lol and gary sinise is in new york, all worth a pop in my opinion, get them for 15 odd quid a pop on dvd in season boxsets, what I do.

now ncis, got into last xmas on FX, bloody love it, more than csi, love ncis.

2 and a half men crossed over with csi vegas, wtf? when did that happen?
