andyais
Am I right in thinking I can buy tickets on the door? I've been to collectormania & lfcc before but not autographica.

PaulWeston
But am I right in thinking that pay on the door get in 30mins later than bought in advance? 11.30 entry?
Showmasters Admin Too Tall Posted September 11, 2009 Showmasters Admin Share Posted September 11, 2009 But am I right in thinking that pay on the door get in 30mins later than bought in advance? 11.30 entry? Not any more. The door system is more like the SM events now. With only 2 entry times. Earlier bird - 9am Sat, 10am Sun. Regular - 11am both days. PaulWeston
So what's the benefit in buying in advance? I don't think I know of an event to yet sell out, even when there's been huge A listers attending.
Moderators DavidB Posted September 11, 2009 Moderators Share Posted September 11, 2009 People tend to buy in advance so they're prepared. That's generally it. No 'benefit' as such, as far as I'm aware.
PaulWeston
I guess I'll revert to buy at the door at future events if there's no benefit then. That way if I can't go for whatever reason, I don't lose the £10 entry fee.
Showmasters Admin Too Tall Posted September 11, 2009 Showmasters Admin Share Posted September 11, 2009 The benefit will be time. The tickets are send out now. So those that have bought them in advance will already have them and when they get to the event will walk straight in. People that need to buy tickets will have to stand in a queue and wait to buy a ticket then go in. I guess it depends on when you get there but someone with a ticket could get in 10-15 minute before you. But with Autographica never being THAT busy that shouldn't make a huge difference. I guess it just may mean you get a VT 100-200 higher than you may have got if you'd bought online. But if you're going to stay all day anyway that too may not be an issue to you. Some people just like to be prepared and have the tickets in advance.
