Babylamb Posted June 12, 2009 Share Posted June 12, 2009 I would firstly say Zachary as Spock - perfect a worthly person to take on the role McCoy and Scotty a little OTT Pine as Kirk - yep go the blue eyes, the charm and the ruggedness Uhura - smart and snazzy with attitude Chekov and Sulu - good choices would love to see there charactors and that relationship develop further as with Spock and Kirk The film is a new take on a classic (orange advert!!) with potential to go alot further -a TV series of this lot would be great for the old and new fans The films rocks!!!! 5th viewing next week!!!!! timelord81r Posted December 20, 2010 Share Posted December 20, 2010 karl urban did nail deforrest well, and was very good but I think the best was pine as kirk, had little bits of shatner but mostly his own version but still kirk if that makes any sense. he owns his scenes, good actor. good lead, uhura was hot but had nothing to do, they need to find her more to do, not sure how I feel about her and spock although it was funny with kirks reactions. scotty was good but needs a more dramatic background added to his character spock, humm looks perfect but the voice, its totaly the wrong tone, however quinto was very good. sulu kicked ass checkov was fun pike was spot on. exactly what the movie needed from that character Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
