It didn't happen before due to them not sorting out the proper legalities relating to the DVDs etc, but they made sure they did for ET.

If they've got something in place for this then it's possible, but I guess that's up to them to decide if they want to or not.

It depends what they put on the DVD's. I think a DVD of talks, highlights of parties etc would be good.

There is probs a cost issue involved in making yhis. They would have to hire someone to film, edit and copy the DVDs also make and design a front cover for it. Another thing is legalities, someone external would have to evaluate whether it would be acceptable to film it may come under data protection (everything usually does)

Similar to the casino issue. You need a licence to use real money and gamble. I think its a licence the hotel has to have. Insurance issues would also be considered.

you just need permittion from the guests and the hotel. for everyone else just bang a piece of A4 to any doors saying 'if you entre this building you are giving your permittion to be filmed' or in this case its just a room. but it saves getting everyones signatures :D ive seen film companys doing it lol

wouldnt it be more fun just for anyone to take their own camera and post footage on youtube. it'll show a variety of atmospheres from the weekend event rather from just one point of view :)

unfortunately Showmasters wouldn't get any royalties for vids posting on youtube.

I have some dvds for other events and they are pretty good for when you've missed a talk for whatever reason. :D

I don't think we're allowed to video the talks :WINCE:

I hope to have a little camcorder by then though so might film some bits of the parties! :P
