Well, me and the bestie are going to Hallowhedon together, and it's the first convention she's been to, and the first weekend one I've attended. My Mum's taking us to the hotel and staying there and what not, but she really doesn't like Buffy and doesn't want to come in. By the time it comes around, we'll both be 14, and we really don't know the ins and outs of these things. :D Anyone be willing to help us out? Not exactly hang around us the whole time, but help us a little, let us know what we have to do and where we have to go and stuff? Anyone, please?:help:

I'm sure plenty of people will be happy to help you if you need it, especially the crew who are all there to help and make your weekend as easy and fun as possible :D

If there's anything you're wondering about before the event that we can answer so you know a bit more about what to expect, please do and we'll try our best to put you at ease about it.

You'll definitely have a great time though

There'll be a schedule posted closer to the event, so you'll know where to go when. It'll also be on the walls at the event itself, and maybe in your registration pack, so you don't have to remember it lol

Basically the days will be split up between autographs/photo shoots, and the guest talks. They'll happen in different rooms, but probably fairly close to each other.

The schedule .. well there's an example here:

I know it looks a bit confusing, but honestly you'll get used to it, and if you're still not sure you can ask. The autos and photo shoots are based on groups of ticket numbers.

Other than that, obviously you're free to go off and get food or whatever else you want, and then there'll be the parties etc.

Fridays are usually just for turning up and registering.

Early evening (like 7pm) would be the Opening Ceremony, which is just the guests going on stage and saying hi and they're looking forward to the weekend etc. Then the cocktail party for Golds, then normal party for everyone else at like 8:30pm.

Sunday it depends on how they schedule things as to what you'll 'miss' - might be a couple of talks, might be a signing .. you can wait and see what the final schedule is, then maybe just have a word with crew and see if you can make sure you get all your autographs before you go. And the closing ceremony, which isn't much either.

There'll definitely be some time to kill. Even the guests and crew need a little break every now and then, so you'll have time to get ready, or eat, or just relax :P

But yeah, it looks complicated on paper, but the system works well and you should be fine.

If anything else comes to mind, feel free to ask.
