I ordered an Early Bird ticket for the Saturday over a month ago and was wanting to meet all of the 66 squad. Now only one of them will be there on the Saturday The selection of sports guests wasn't the greatest in the first place, now I am travelling over 2 hours to meet one person. It's hardly a big day out. Does anyone have any ideas what I can do around Coventry for the rest of the day? I realise that the days the guest appear are up to them, but I think it's a little unfair posting this information 4 day's before the event, when the majority of people attending will have already bought tickets and made travel arrangements. Of course, as the tickets are non-refundable i am pretty much in a trapped situation where i either have to attend anyway or lose the money in the event that she isn't there. First, Richard Dreyfuss cancels and now Natalia Tena is only signing on Sunday. I just hope that Showmasters have some big surprise guest(s) lined up to make the journey worthwhile. RMC001 Posted October 30, 2008 Share Posted October 30, 2008 Well my family and I were mainly going to see Dwight Shultz, but now he's cancelled, we will still be going for the following reasons: 1) To meet Dirk Benedict and a few others 2) It looks like there are more stalls at this event than there are at Milton Keynes 3) At Milton Keynes it can take half an hour to walk down a single aisle of the stalls due to the mass of people, but as this isn't in a shopping centre, hopefully it will be more like the Autographica/Terry Nation event last spring at the NEC, where you could get to the stalls easily. 4) It's in Coventry, not far from where I grew up - a good excuse to return to my roots which I haven't done for some time 5) To see the new stadium, it looks a lot better than the Highfield Road one where I spent many Saturdays in my youth! Thanks They are brought by an outside company and so I don't have access to the actual price list for this show. This list is based on Sportsmania 1 and 2, and so are not confirmed prices. The higher figure is for an autograph on a "premium" item. Premium items are anything used or worn during sport or a part of a stadium/venue (e.g. a Wembley seat back). If you are not sure if your item is a premium item please do ask one of the crew on the day and they will be able to help clarify.
