Hallowhedon poll to help us make the right choice for you

I guess Amber was here very recently, so a lot of people met her then, plus she does do a fair few appearances. Adam hasn't for a while, and he does have his band too.

 

Regarding a comment earlier about someone hoping the organiser won't just go by the poll - of course they won't, it's just a rough representation of what people want here. They're fully aware that there will be plenty of people that aren't on here that haven't voted, plus it's not like they can definitely get everyone in the poll anyway. So don't worry, I'm pretty sure they know what they're doing.

Oh good thats ok then, i have voted myself but certainly my friends abroad mainly James fans havent and dont belong to the forum, they are all into buffy big time and do come over to collectormania events and some have booked tickets already without even being certain he's coming. Mad i know!!

Well I'd suggest everyone joins up and votes anyway. It can help, especially in the case of the less prominent guests. Beyond the ones that SMs mentioned in the original post, they'll obviously know James Marsters and others like Nathan, Gina, Eliza etc would be popular anyway. It's often the lesser ones that need the visible support

I'm new to this. Little bit scared bout the con as i'm going all the way to Heathrow from Manchester on my own. Really looking forward to it though and have my gold ticket bought.

Been to a couple of cons in Blackpool and some Collectormania shows.

 

Manchester? Easy. I have to come from Edinburgh on my own!

 

Did I mention that I want Neil Patrick Harris to go?

However if you get Tony Head, Robin Sachs and Harry Groener on stage at the same time you will have the audience rolling in the ailses they bounce off each other really well.

 

But I would be happy with any of the listed guests to be honest, I don't think I have met a Whedon universe guest that I haven't liked

Edinburgh to London is scarier. I've been to London a couple of times but always had someone with me. It's not just the traveling that's scary it's being at a con where i don't know people. the last con i went to i made friends with a few people who then decided i wasn't cool enough and i ended up on my own- well apart from a guy who told me i looked pretty and then poured his whole pint down his front. Obviously i then spent the rest of the con trying to avoid him. lol!

I know what you mean about not knowing people at a con though. I started out like that, but luckily I found this place and I've got to know so many people before events and it's made it so much easier.

 

I'm sure as there's nearly a year before Hallowhedon, most people will have a chance to get to know each other so no-one feels left out

I go to most cons with my wife (including this one) but have recently been to a few on my own. At all the cons I've been to I have ended up meeting really nice people and have made many good friends.

awwwwwww. you're all lovely. Thanks for making me feel better. My other half isn't really into the Whedonverse (although he really likes Serenity). Wasn't feeling so well yesterday and mentioned that i'd had two cups of tea to make me feel a little better. I nearly had a heart attack when he quoted Spike "cup of tea, cup of tea, nearly got s*****d, cup of tea". see i must be making an impression. well, we have been together 7 1/2 years (i've known him 14!).

Hes really good with fans he comes over a lot to the other conventions and his music is great too if he gets to do a mini concert in the evenings.

the choice of the list is hard.

a lot of actors of series would be interressant to meet:

emma caulfield, tom lenk, clare kramer, bailey chase (that I have never met and i would like to meet)

amber benson, mercedes mcnab,adam busch, george hertzberg, mark lutz, vincent kartheiser, nicholas brendon, kelly donovan, charisma carpenter ( these actors are lovely).

But also hoping for
