I was wonering if anyone would really come dressed as in 1901.

I love making dresses (yeah, I have time to waste ... not really in fact, but I'm insomniac XD), and I'd love to make one int the Victorian style, I already have chosen my pattern ...

But if I'm the only one dressing up :YAHOO: ...

Does anyone think they would really dress up in the Edwardian (lol) or Victorian style at this party ?

See being another person in the same vein as you, I'd probably make something. Yeah, now I know what the themes are I think I'd dress up for the 1901 even though the other two are easier.

Great :P

So at least there will be the two of us ^^

Yeah, the other two are quite easier. But a dress from the Victorian era takes so long to make, so I want to start it now ^^

I would totally dress up in 1901 period costume, but as it's for the sunday night party, I doubt I'll be staying for it, as my husband (if he comes) will need to get back home for work on Monday.

oops, sorry, i didn't see your answer

So there's gonna be the three of us :P

Sometimes I am completely thick...my friend, who lives in the US, makes theatrical costumes for a living and works in a fabric/pattern retailers..sheesh I was only staying with her the other week :D I have to get in touch with her because I'm sure she can get patterns from the period.

This is all sounds so awesome!

I think I can manage the prom and the beach party "outfits", sure Ill bring some wellies and find a dress some where, haha :D

... The 1901 sounds AMAZING, but what on earth am I supposed to wear! I am 19 years old and attending school from 6 in the morning to mostly around 5 PM, one day even 10 PM... I dont have time to make a dress myself o.O I am going to spend a lot of money getting from Denmark to the UK so I don't know if Ill be able to buy something.

Oh well, at least you let us know now so we have time to come up with something :headscratch: Thank you! And it all sounds cool, even the 1901 theme... it sounds like the coolest actually, just hard!
