snedders
just have to say that i totally enjoyed my day out on saturday before entering the fair there was the guys dressed as star wars characters, then the staff on entry were very helpful and polite. there was just such a great little buzz in the air and there was some great costumed characters roaming around, everyone was so friendly. it brought a smile to my face. but my big moment was meeting dave prowse and getting my picture taken. it is now framed and i am proudly showing it off then to top my day off i won the cosplay comp , but i must say there was some really cool cosplay costumes there and they were all very friendly people and the guys dressed in combat gear from aliens they were top guys and i must say a big thanks to everyone involved on the day especially to the girls at the cosplay, they were very helpful i will be back in december see you all there

lastsonofkrypton
just wanted to say I also enjoyed the day, great to see Glasgow being so popular, the queue was incredible, but everything moved quickly and found myself inside very quickly. I know she wasn't part of the event but the girl in the pink hawaian outfit helped pass the time. looking forward to december now.....and hope to be able to attend the party if there is one. cheers. Were you part of the 11 o'clock onward crowd? I paid the extra for the 9am entry, but at about quarter to eleven I went for a wander to Waterstones (I had reserved a hard-to-find book there) and the queue was all the way from the Arena to Waterstones itself. It was nuts.

Reverend Scapegoat
... Athletic cup. Seriously. I’ve seen things you people wouldn’t believe. Attack ships on fire off the shoulder of Orion. I watched C-beams glitter in the dark near the Tannhauser Gate. And I saw a guy in a Spiderman costume going commando underneath. All those moments will be lost in time, like tears in rain. But not yet. :| *Sob* And the shop was out of mind-bleach!
