the classic guest are announced first

(as most have little work and can arrange their times)

the new series guests are mostly working actor so do not know if they are free until the last moment

I like the way derek doe us

he does not promise the earth then snatch it away

his motto is WYSIWYG

and its a nice surprise

to see who turns up

even new guests on the day

its great fun

from the site

This Dimensions is kind of special in two way, it's the 45th Anniversary of Doctor Who and the 10th Anniversary of 10th Planet!!! We will have a range of guests from the Classic Series (1963-1996) to the New Series (2005-2008) of Doctor Who, plus Torchwood and other spin offs such as the Audio Range from Big Finish. The following guests all appear subject to work commitments.

ok you got me there

and as much as i love the new series i was hoping for a "classic " con but im there whatever

Lalla Ward (although I bet she would just cancel again)

Kate O’Mara

Ingrid Pitt

Generally anyone that was in the show in the early 60’s companion wise, we don’t see enough of the Hartnell companions these days! I realise that the show is very much in the limelight and the new series stars will pull in the crowds but please, lets have someone from the show’s past… for s show that deals with history, it’s past is sometimes horrible engorged!

Not being pedantic, but surely the show began as the early sixties became the mid sixties ......

Stuart Fell would fit the bill as he played Alpha Centauri, a Sea Devil and was

the Sontaran in the fight scenes in The Sontaran Experiment and a Sontaran

in The Ivasion of Time. He also played the Morbius monster in The Brain

of Morbius and one of the tentacled Axons in Claws of Axos.

WOW

well the guy is up there with the greats for me then

seriously if this guy did a show with George Lucas,Jack Nicholson and John Lydon i know what que id be in

hes played some iconic characters

im a long time Who fan whos only recently starting to go to cons(its heartbreaking to read in back issues of DWM what ive missed over the years) and vague about who played most of the creatures other than Bernard Bresslaw, the chap who played the Cyberleader and various Daleks but id like to get as many signed pics of the creatures that i can

even the big shrimp alien in INVISIBLE ENEMY

Looking fwd to this con a great deal as its my first Who con

Hey vintage, did you go to LFACC? Sonny Caldinez was there, one of the major guys that played an ice warrior in all 4 stories. Lovely guy! Ive always wanted to meet stuart fell, the guy is a legend. Although having been to a lot of the old 'vintage' who cons years ago, the only people that could be announced for this that could make me go are maureen o'brien and jackie lane, as theyre the only 2 regulars ive not met

Well, Maureen has already done a 'Dimensions' and a few signings for 10th Planet. Jackie has done signings for them but is said not to be keen on doing a convention again, but who knows? Stranger things have happened.

id assume hes not, and i agree with him. Being a huge who fan, stuart fell would be an incredible guy to meet, and despite being a lifelong star wars fan, id meet stuart fell way before George Lucas. Everyone has their own priorities

Check out John Scott Martin on IMDB; he will be of interest;

played the Nucleus in Invisible Enemy as well as being a Dalek

legend; also a Gel guard in the Three Doctors and a Zarbi etc.

As it's the anniversary year I'd like Carol Ann Ford and William Russell together. Infact get Jeremy Young along and Warris Hussain and you can have a panel for the first story 'An Unearthly Child'.

My dream though would be a panel featuring the first 4 directors, Warris, Richard Martin, Chris Barry and Frank Cox [who I don't think has ever appeared before].

Lol that's cool - each to his own! For me, out of that list it would be Jack Nicholson :)
